Our stay at The Fontaine was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed we received top notch customer service! Our upgraded accommodations were magnificent & spacious with lots of amenities (including surround sound throughout the suite and on the balcony! The hotel offered transportation to and from the many eateries and shopping at the Plaza. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area -- You will be in for a treat!
I'm not a fancy guy and when traveling alone, I always look for a BW as I find them to be consistent and I love a good breakfast. This particular BW has two big things going for them... 1. This BW is located right across the street from Arrowhead Stadium. I walked from my hotel to the tailgate party. Super convenient. 2. This BW has one heck of a sports bar, something I've never seen in any of the BWs I've stayed in through the years. The two bartenders were fantastic, hustled all night, and even cobbled together several White Russians for us! If I could go back to the topic of breakfast, I would say that this BW has the biggest, nicest, dining room that I've seen as well. It is unique along those lines. Areas of improvement: It's probably time to invest in some new mattresses. The one-person check-in can get swamped at times. The EV charger was broken when I was there. I hope they get that repaired soon. Even with these things, I give this BW a 5-star rating because the good way outweighs the bad.
This hotel was absolutely perfect for us. We are on a mission to visit all the MLB parks and this one was an easy walk to the Royals Stadium. We stayed in room 100 - which was quiet, large and very convenient to the parking lot. As we were checking-in there was a LONG line of folks trying to do the same - including what looked to be a high school baseball or football team - so checking in to many rooms! The manager brought in two additional staff to help check everyone in - which was really appreciated! The breakfast was very good - eggs, waffles, pancakes - along with lots of cold options - yogurt, cereal, fruit. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It is also convenient to the Truman Museum in case you are interested in amazing US History!!
Visited KC from New Zealand in June 23 with 2 things in mind, catching a Royals game and Tim Magraw in concert. The concert was a 10 minute walk away so it was the perfect place. The public tram stopped right outside so it was great to take us to museums and the market. The room was great, spacious shower and the concierge Robert was fantastic. Greeted with a big smile and the 3 days we were there that smile never left his face. Great restaurant Loeu'.s across the road made the Courtyard a great place to stay, The valet parking was very prompt and always friendly staff. The fresh cookies on arrival and when we returned every day were very good. Thank you to all inolved.
Manoj is a great valet, I really appreciate his politeness and responsiveness. He was very helpful and guided us towards the best restaurants to dine at. He was quick and efficient. Very respectful and above all professional! Staff like him make us feel welcome especially since he is the first person we came in contact with.
The hotel was great!! It was very clean, updated, and close enough to walk to the power and light district. Beware of the parking garage right next to the hotel that cost $18 to park though. Our catalytic converter was cut and stolen straight off our car. It seems to be a recurring crime in KC right now!!
We stayed with a family group. The room was real nice. No maid service is done for the room. The hot tub has been broken for a month (so we told by staff). The hot tub was one of the reasons they were chose. Only high price starbucks coffee available in lobby. (And if you don't have maid service, no coffee available in the room) This the most expensive hotel I've ever used and the worst basic service I received. We paid over$200/night.
I was extremely impressed with Sonesta. I will definitely be coming back again. The rooms were very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. We thought there was a problem with the temperature controller in the room. The clerk let me know that maintenance was not there, so she upgraded us to a suite. Well, we got to that room and thought we had the same issue, but there was no issue the heating unit was on the wall, they just still had the old units to adjust the temperature on floor. It turned out to be one of my best experiences with a hotel. Great Customer Service! The breakfast was extremely nice. The pool and hot tub was extremely nice. I was very impressed. We go to a lot of hotels, and for that price, it was so worth it. I will be looking for other Sonesta Hotels when I travel.
Comfortable stay
King room is roomy
The Bar and grill is convenient but the menu is limited and the foods could be a lot better
Airport pickup service was good make sure you ring up and get the type van colour etc
ผผู้เข้าพักThis hotel is in the area near where I needed to be this weekend and it was clean. I will be staying again as I will need to return to the area.
I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks!
Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.
KKaty JWe will be back to this lovely hotel tucked into a park-like corner of Kansas City. It’s just steps from the Plaza and a quick walk to local restaurants and shops in Westport. Helpful and speedy valet service. Thanks Stephen! Soon the free trolley will extend to this neighborhood opening up a whole new way to get around.
CCompanion40965293950Only stayed one night, but the stay was a pleasant one. Check-in was quick. The room was clean and the location was convenient for us. The location is by a Walmart gas station and many restaurant options. But, we have to add that when we think of HI Express the first thing that comes to mind is their cinnamon rolls. We arrive at breakfast to see there are no cinnamon rolls. We ask the nice lady taking care of the food if there are more cinnamon rolls coming out. Nope, they have been out of the rolls and somebody is suppose to reorder. Come on HI Express! You can do better than this. The other items were delicious. So we ate and went on our way.
