Our stay at The Fontaine was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed we received top notch customer service! Our upgraded accommodations were magnificent & spacious with lots of amenities (including surround sound throughout the suite and on the balcony! The hotel offered transportation to and from the many eateries and shopping at the Plaza. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area -- You will be in for a treat!
I'm not a fancy guy and when traveling alone, I always look for a BW as I find them to be consistent and I love a good breakfast. This particular BW has two big things going for them... 1. This BW is located right across the street from Arrowhead Stadium. I walked from my hotel to the tailgate party. Super convenient. 2. This BW has one heck of a sports bar, something I've never seen in any of the BWs I've stayed in through the years. The two bartenders were fantastic, hustled all night, and even cobbled together several White Russians for us! If I could go back to the topic of breakfast, I would say that this BW has the biggest, nicest, dining room that I've seen as well. It is unique along those lines. Areas of improvement: It's probably time to invest in some new mattresses. The one-person check-in can get swamped at times. The EV charger was broken when I was there. I hope they get that repaired soon. Even with these things, I give this BW a 5-star rating because the good way outweighs the bad.
Visited KC from New Zealand in June 23 with 2 things in mind, catching a Royals game and Tim Magraw in concert. The concert was a 10 minute walk away so it was the perfect place. The public tram stopped right outside so it was great to take us to museums and the market. The room was great, spacious shower and the concierge Robert was fantastic. Greeted with a big smile and the 3 days we were there that smile never left his face. Great restaurant Loeu'.s across the road made the Courtyard a great place to stay, The valet parking was very prompt and always friendly staff. The fresh cookies on arrival and when we returned every day were very good. Thank you to all inolved.
Manoj is a great valet, I really appreciate his politeness and responsiveness. He was very helpful and guided us towards the best restaurants to dine at. He was quick and efficient. Very respectful and above all professional! Staff like him make us feel welcome especially since he is the first person we came in contact with.
The hotel was great!! It was very clean, updated, and close enough to walk to the power and light district. Beware of the parking garage right next to the hotel that cost $18 to park though. Our catalytic converter was cut and stolen straight off our car. It seems to be a recurring crime in KC right now!!
We stayed with a family group. The room was real nice. No maid service is done for the room. The hot tub has been broken for a month (so we told by staff). The hot tub was one of the reasons they were chose. Only high price starbucks coffee available in lobby. (And if you don't have maid service, no coffee available in the room) This the most expensive hotel I've ever used and the worst basic service I received. We paid over$200/night.
This amazing hotel was perfect for our layover both before and after our trip out of MCI. Very few hotels offer 24 hour shuttle and this one was both affordable and comfortable. It is a revamped older hotel, which is beautiful inside and out. Outstanding clean room.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis hotel is in the area near where I needed to be this weekend and it was clean. I will be staying again as I will need to return to the area.
I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks!
Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.
KKaty JWe will be back to this lovely hotel tucked into a park-like corner of Kansas City. It’s just steps from the Plaza and a quick walk to local restaurants and shops in Westport. Helpful and speedy valet service. Thanks Stephen! Soon the free trolley will extend to this neighborhood opening up a whole new way to get around.
Ggbw7710We have stayed at this hotel countless times. But unfortunately, this time was extremely disappointing. We were there for two nights, in a suite, in order to have the extra bed. When we opened the bed the sheets were used and dirty. Looked like blood stains. When we pulled the bed out, there were numerous sucker sticks visi le under the couch, along with other trash and a dirty sock. The front desk was resposive and brought sheets. Did not apologize, just said that is not something housekeeping checks. When we put sheets on mattress we saw something more disgusting... photo attached. We told the person who came to the room and he just looked at me. He said they were undergoing renovations. Well, clearly had not gotten to our room. The next day, hpusekeeping was only fresh towels. We actually ran put of toilet paper right before checkout. The breakfast was one of the most bare HIE breakfasts I have seen. We typically enjoy HIE breakfasts, but this one just missed the mark. Overall, not worth the money paid. And disappointing.
