Luxury stay nestled in the hills of Kandy. The room was excellent - the service, both at the room and dining - was impeccable. Subtler nuances - extra water in the room, cleaning of the bathroom without being asked to do so, excellent quality of the extra bed - absolutely top notch. The food was delicious. Scratching my head to dig out improvement areas - perhaps the pool ladder could be a little less 'loose', one of the blinds in the room was 'slipping' when pulled, the shaving razor/creamer were not replaced once... In all, an absolutely no brainer - go get pampered!

A very easy place to be with wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality. Our room was amazing and super comfortable with lots of space and amazing views of the trees and the monkeys were very entertaining. The food was great! The Sri Lankan curry was delicious and huge!

We had a wonderful experience at the Kings Pavilion. The housekeeping staff were superb looking after us and amazing us with their towel animals, all the staff were attentive, caring and really paid attention noticing even small things that were helpful I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The turn down service was exceptional. They took the effort to make animals out of towels. It was a delight returning to the room after dinner. Staff were all very friendly. The Sri Lankan breakfast was tasty. The room faces the green forest and so waking up to chirping birds is great for the soul.

We were the only guests at the hotel for 2 nights and truly treated like royalty. The garden is beautiful and a true oasis away from the bustle of Kandy, We swam and relaxed by the pool. We ate on the hotel veranda each evening and enjoyed sumptuous Sri Lankan curries and rice with all accompaniments. The service was charming and impeccable.

Received an upgrade to their best room - sadly we were only there for one night - so did not get to appreciate everything there was to offer. The towel animal folding was absolutely brilliant, the room beautiful and the gardens amazing. So nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, but close enough to get to the key tourist activities. My only negative would be that the breakfast menu was very western - it would have been great to have traditional Sri Lankan food such as hoppers available.

We had a fantastic experience at King’s pavillion. The location and the views were gorgeous and the personnel took very good care of us. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and spent time by the lovely pool. The rooms were large, and the bathrooms really beautiful. We were very happy with our stay, would recommend this.

We had an incredible stay at Kings Pavilion. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The views are spectacular. We were only here for one night but the dinner was absolutely exceptional and the breakfast was lovely. Wish we had more time here and look forward to visiting again in the future.
