The hotel is big, but there is enough space for everybody. Food in the buffet was very good and there were a lot of it. the hotel and rooms was clean and comfortable, the hotel staff was very kind and professional. Also the pool area was very nice. Nothing to complain about, we had a perfect vacation here!

The best night in the Greek restaurant at Amada Colossos resort! We had amazing food served by the fantastic team- Sipthan, Elenie and Daniel who made the night very special and fun with Greek dancing and lots of laughter! Wouldn’t have been the same without them, great Thursday night! Thank you to the team!

Amada Colossos was amazing. Just spent a week there as a couple and the staff were extremely attentive, professional and polite. The three restaurants were great and the service within was considerate and made us feel valued. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed recommendations or any help getting to anywhere. We once enquired about a taxi to faliraki and the reception staff ordered us a taxi and told us it would be outside immediately - by the time we got through the doors it was waiting ready for us. The reception staff even let us use the pool, restaurants etc after we checked out as our flight and transfer was not until the evening. We were offered a room to shower and freshen up before our flight for half an hour which was extremely convenient! They did not need to do this but this really did impress us. Our sea view room was amazing and the rooms were extremely spacious, clean and modern. Our rooms were cleaned to a great standard every day and we were provided with bottled water in our fridge every day. One morning we did not get our usual bottles of water - this didn’t bother us at all but after we got back from the pool that evening, there were two bottles in our room that housekeeping left for us which was great! Hotel is well located with a bus stop directly outside the hotel to Rhodes city or faliraki. Water sports are outside on the beach (not included) whuch are decently priced and a range of boat tours within a few minute walk up the beach.

Amazing hotel, couldn’t recommend enough. The staff and the food was so good every evening and the entertainment and waterpark was fab for the kids and adults. We went to the Italian restaurant within the resort one evening and the food was gorgeous, the waiting staff were spot on. Especially one of our waiters Angelo, he was so friendly and made us feel really welcome. He couldn’t do enough for us. 😌 10/10 service. Would definitely return back to this hotel, a group of 20 of us went and we all couldn’t fault it at all.

Just returned from a week's holiday with my daughter and we had such a wonderful time. The hotel was defiantly a 5 star and the weather was warm and sunny apart from one afternoon of rain but we still had a great time exploring the hotel and having dinner. I have always visited mostly "All Inclusive Hotels" and never expecting food at buffets to be hot especially by the time you put everything on your plate and you sit down it is indeed luke-warm! If you expect the food to be hot then don't book an all inclusive. The three a-la-carte restaurants were the best compared to the buffet! You have to book these when you arrive to the hotel or at least by the next day to avoid disappointment of missing out. Nothing to complain about other than it filled you up after the starters and almost left struggling with the main and dessert! I enjoyed the Asian the best. Throughout the holiday my 4 year old barely ate anything but she is fussy anyway and lived off Fanta/lemonade for the week as no diluted juice like we have in the UK. I would advise taking some snacks/bottle of juice for the week that young kids eat at home if they are very fussy. I took a couple of snacks from home as well as bought in the shops out there and was a bit of a life saver. We thoroughly enjoyed lazing about by the pool. We spent most of time in the water park which opens at 11am and closes 5pm. Only criticism about all the toilets around the pools is that they have no locks on the door and are see-through! By reception they have proper doors and locks so not sure why they could have not put this throughout the pool areas too. Water slides are great fun! Sea is quite rocky so I would advise wearing shoes. I am not a big fan of the sea so only was in there for a few minutes due to the rocks and no shoes. Sand is very hot but my daughter enjoying making sand castles. We had a mountain view and the rooms are a bit small especially if there are three of you. Also not much privacy when using the bathroom (shower & toilet). Staff within the hotel were very friendly. As mentioned in previously reviews I have seen, the lifts around breakfast/lunch and dinner time they get very busy especially with children and pushchairs so be warned to wait 5-10 minutes or so. Most we waiting thankfully was a couple of minutes. We didn't venture out of the hotel apart from the mini train we took a trip to Faliraki which was fun for my daughter and just went to some nearby shops for souvenirs. We were very glad that the the travel time from the airport was only around 15-20 minutes. Entertainment team were friendly and what they had showing was mostly good and the mini disco my daughter loved going to though what with swimming throughout the day she found dancing and joining in with the disco quite tiring. Brilliant holiday and we would return in the future if we decided to but we love exploring different hotels and countries!

I cant recommend this hotel enough. Check in was flawless. We had a family room in the new part of the hotel over looking the adult only pool and the beach. Room was large, clean with lots and lots of storage. The other side of the corridor to our room is where the evening entertainment/shows were held and we couldn’t hear them when the door was closed. Food was brilliant, did not feel repetitive at all, great selection and friendly staff. Pools were the perfect temperature and our daughter absolutely loved the water slides. Beach is a bit stoney to walk on but that is out of the hotels control. We will definitely be back as we were all very sad to leave. Side note: Our room was above the swim up rooms, not sure if they would be worth the money as they were not in the sun for very long throughout the day (we had a swim up room on our last holiday in a different part of greece, which seemed a better set up that these ones) however, the other pools in general at this hotel are perfect. Also, our daughter had eaten Pringles on her bed and left a few crumbs, when we returned to the room in the evening we were horrified to see her bed COVERED in ants, house keeping were very quick to help with the situation, but might be worth noting not to eat anything on the beds etc. cant say we have ever experienced this before.

Would have been 5 just a couple of things .first the good! Great staff helpful friendly ,clean resort & rooms ( important to me ) food in all restaurants very good ! Meat hot or cold good quality plenty of choice , drinks good choice ( may come a little slow in high season but staff always working hard !) out side and pool area clean . Just my feed back , I wish the person who put the water in room would come earlier ,as you think you room is clean and done but then late afternoon someone just come in ! Lucky we sat with clothes on 🙈 We had no entertainment there is a theatre at the front of hotel but work was been done on it , we may just not had right week ! A lady did sing earlier teatime and I think one night two men were trying to sing , sometimes evening background music a bit like pool music in the day , also the children’s entertainment seemed late . Just not really up to rest of hotel . Now I think reception should say when they give pool towels card out that you Must Hand back end of day as there will not be clean ones the next day and people may have to wait till everyone has picked up there’s before swap . I know pool opens at 10 so that is when towel pick up is but maybe 9.30 as we are making most of days towel man does not have tip box and he gets most whinges in hotel !! Also adult area which small side of pool , hotel did not enforce this so one day they let one family then next day others follow , there is a lot of area for family’s and also water park ., last thing has a massage which was good but 60 euros for 30 mins not sure I would do again they do take you to a room to relax after which I could not as one size dressing robe was help together edge by edge so could not pick up water or would have been embarrassed 😳 maybe a few larger size. There was a older guy in buffet restaurant always made people smile ! Over all would go back again .

The food in the main restaurant is usually luke warm - neverhot. The 3 alacarte restaurants are mostly excellent apart from the Greek one which generally seems to be chaotic and poorly supervised - the other 2 are worth the 5stars. Most rules are ignored especially the old chestnut of putting towels down to'reserve' the sunbeds. There are 10 together at the moment that have had towels on since 8am, it is now 4pm and they have not been used, always the same 'gang' of 'people' - I use the term loosely! The toilet in your room has a glass door ensuring you have no privacy. My review gets 4stars mainly because of the staff who are friendly and helpful. The pool and water park are excellent with the food at MAD by the beach very good. So overall very good but don't have rules if you are unwilling or scared to enforce them. Cleanliness is excellent and the rooms are cleaned every day.
