City Hotel Jonkoping is a family run hotel in central Jonkoping, 250 meters from the lake Vattern and Jonkopings Central Station. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1963.
All the rooms have comfortable chairs, a desk, tv and a hairdryer.
The hotel also offers a free relax area that includes a jacuzzi and saunas.
The continental breakfast is always included in the price and is served on weekdays from 6:30am to 10:00am and on the weekends from 7:00am to 10:30am. The buffet contains both hot food like bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes and cold food like pineapple, melon, yoghurt etc.
In the lounge you will always find free tea and coffee. There is also a pool table and an indoor playground for the children.
In the neighborhood you will find plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Just across the street is the unique and famous area Tandsticksomradet located. The area is an old match factory.

Bed was clean and comfortable but the rest of the hotel just needs a good clean. Very friendly staff and great customer service. Bretfeast was awful the Pancakes was cold and rubbery and the Orange juice was just nasty dish walter
I would recommend staying but have breakfast elsewhere

It is a old property marketed as a Best Western and a family hotel. Two different price points for the same hotel - weird. - We could not find Best Western signage on the outside of the hotel. It was OK, but overpriced.
Not sure about the Sure Hotel change standards, I would have to stay at a few more to evaluate consistency,

Very friendly staff, and the service was amazing. the hotel reception and rooms are old but still very clean and well maintained. comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Good breakfast. Nice jacuzzi and sauna.
