Jianshui Qianyu Scenic Homestay

Very nice homestay, clean, well located in the old town andwith a perfect host. Breakfast is halal and nicely presented in bento type tray. We stayed only one night on our way to Yuanyang. Wish we could stay longer. If ever we are in Jianshui again, this is the place we will come back to.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The Hotel is in the Old Town, only 150m to the Chongwen Pagoda. The room is perfectly clean and they also cleaned it every day. We had a really comfortable bed and slept well. Our highlight were the hosts. They were really helpfull, invited ous for the local homemade tofu dinner and organized our following transport. We felt really welcome in the hotel!

They were so nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great : calm but very close to all touristic areas. They were very accomodating : the lady gave me lot of touristic advices, served me tea, and let me check-in earlier and also served me breakfast a bit earlier so I could catch my train back. We had an amazing time in Jianshui thanks to the hospitality and kindness of our hosts. We felt welcomed as in their home and we loved chatting over tea and fruits in the afternoon and trying some grilled tofu all together in the evening! We even received some roses for our bedroom when our hosts learnt that it was our honeymoon. We would love to come back!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable. The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special. This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time.
