"I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"It's a hostel with a very homely environment. The manager will invite you to drink tea with him, the courtyard is a very chill area to hang out in and even spend all day to the sound of flowing water and surrounded by plants. There is a kitchen available too, and the manager brings water from the well daily for the use of the guests. The dorm was comfortable and the lower beds have curtains but the upper ones don't. The manager sometimes organises events for the guests, such as the time when we went picking mushrooms and visited a local market from where we bought more mushrooms which were cooked for dinner, all at a very good price. The location is excellent, just 1 minute walking to the south gate of the ancient city. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Jianshui."

這次來建水旅行，最大的驚喜就是入住了夏朵酒店（朱家花園店）。説實話，入住前本以為這衹是一次標準化的酒店體驗，結果卻收穫了遠超預期的驚喜！和之前住過的酒店相比，這裏的服務明顯更有人情味，房間的細節做的非常到位，有非常舒服的床品，淋浴熱水非常棒。看得出是用心設計過的。最讓我印象深刻的是早餐和晚餐。完全不是那種敷衍的自助餐，現熬骨湯米線，新鮮的蔬菜，像小鍋單炒一樣，吃的非常舒服。。最人性化的是，早餐時間延長到13點，讓晚起星人也能踏實吃到早餐，用實惠的價格享受到了近乎五星級的體驗，這絕對是我以後再來建水的首選酒店。

ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อYizhai Medieval Stay (1) room had a bad musty smell (2) couldn't get the hansgrohe shower to work, as it was very late, instead of waking the owner, I took a bath, the water from the bath was barely lukewarm. (3) there was no floor towel provided, after the floor got wet it became very slippery, I slipped at least 3 times. (4) the toilet seat was cracked and the toilet seat hinge was not maintained, no matter how careful I was the seat would slip to one side and cause me to jolt my back. (5) the toilet flush handle was not working properly, have to manually push the handle back into its original position after each flush. (6) the projector screen was too large and I kept on banging into it (7) have to close windows for quiet, if leave them open everytime a car goes past sounds like someone is knocking on your door The staff were polite but unhelpful about the toilet issue, they said they would notify the boss but couldn't fix the problems. They didn't offer a room change. The above problems spoiled my stay experience. Apart from the above problems, I loved the decor, espec the panda cushion and the faux fireplace. The bathrobe was nice. There is room for improvement.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe place has so much history and culture - we are privileged to be able to be able to experience it all during our time in Jianshui. The host (Zhao) is amazing - when we first arrived, he brought us around the place and told us all about it. During our stay, he goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. He even accompanied me to the pharmacy to get some medication. We felt right at home after a day and felt sad to leave. This place is close enough to the ancient city (7 min by foot). Around the corner, there is a local morning market. It’s small but you could see the hustle and bustle and even pick up some local fruits/food! Room is not big but it is sufficient and clean. We weren’t confined to our room because the communal area is very inviting. You get to play with the occasional resident cat and dog! Overall, this is a highly recommended for travelers seeking unique experiences!

The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

ผผู้เข้าพักWhat am amazing acommodation. Definitely the most impressive I have ever stayed. The Wabi Sabi and microcement design is just wow. The rooms are sparkling clean with high quality products. The matress is very comfortable. Underground parking was offered free of charge 3 mins from the accomodation. The location is right in the middle of Jianshui, a 5 min walk from Confucius Temple, but on a side street that is very very quiet and where you can rest properly. The owner of this place is also an amazing person, very friendly and very kind. I will definitely come back again.

Thanks for suggestions and helps from the elegant hostel lady, like went back home and saw your grandma and family. Jianshui is also worth to go back many times, time stopped there and addicted to various rice noodles.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel's location is very conveniently located by the North Gate and in a smaller alley thereof, so it's not noisy at all. The decoration is beautiful, especially the inner court yard is very nice with lots of plants and flowers. The service is great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice with good amenities and nicely decorated. The only downside is that the windows to the courtyard can only be fastened through a shutter, so light and noise may still get in. Since it's an inner courtyard though, it's manageable. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants and Confucius' temple is not far. Would definetly come again!

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel premises are clearly 5* ! Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find. Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part. Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist. the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine. Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest. Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.
