Unloved not very well maintained. We received an email just prior to our stay so not able to cancel to say the pool would be closed for maintenance until 22nd June. We have just been to the roof to have a look and we would say the pool and the roof terrace had been closed for some time! We have a large pool ourselves which we maintain and the signs of not being used are clear. Even the pool robot looks very unused. Dead unwatered flowers, kitchen full of filthy plates, glasses pots and pans. Broken toilet seat in the ladies. Has not been maintained for a long time. So if you were looking for a hotel with pool look elsewhere! An email sent just after the free cancellation 3 day period saying the pool will reopen on our last days smacks of intention!!

I made a 170 NIS cash deposit when I checked in, and I let reception know the night before that I needed to checkout early at 6am. Reception said that was fine, they operated 24 hours. No one was there in the morning and I waited 15 mins before I had to urgently leave because I was leaving the country. I have tried contacting them multiple times - at the start they were responsive until asked if I could come in to collect the deposit. When I told them I had left the country they stopped responding. These thieves have stolen the cash deposit I paid and refuse to refund or even respond to any attempt to contact them over the past 2 months. The customer service is disgusting and I’m extremely disappointed
My mother, daughter and I went to the spa for massages to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We were very disappointed - there was no spa area to change - no robe was given - and relax - before the massage. It was a dingy area at the end of a hallway. It felt creepy and unappealing. We waited outside the changing rooms for the pool, and were told to show up for our massages at the time of our appointments. The massage room was unattractive, makeshift, and cold. We were told to leave our clothes and belongings on plastic crates. My massage was very good, but the masseuse my daughter had kept answering her phone during her massage! It was a creepy experience. We do not recommend the spa. The kibbutz put a lot of resources into the pools, the restaurant, and the lounge areas, but seemed to have decided to add a “spa” as an afterthought, and indeed, it shows.
ผผู้เข้าพักI really wanted to like this place after reading all the great reviews here but came away with slightly mixed feelings. On the plus side, it is a beautiful old building, and the location is fabulous, just a few minutes walk from the Damascus Gate (the entry into the most interesting part of the old city) and the nearby light rail stop. My room felt a bit tired and in need of an upgrade though - a decent coffee machine and real cups rather than disposable ones would be a good start. Staff were pleasant enough but didn't go out of their way to be helpful. There's a nice airy restaurant on the ground floor, but in a country with such fabulous food pretty much everywhere you go, I thought the breakfast left a lot to be desired, and for that reason I didn't attempt any other meals here. I was travelling alone and for a place to lay my head at night, it was perfectly fine and a reasonable price, but it wasn't a place that I wanted to linger in. If I were back in Jerusalem with my family I'd forego the atmosphere and look for something a bit more modern.
GGreenAlThe location was close to the old city of Jerusalem, walking distance to the Jaffa Gate. The facility itself is beautiful inside and out. The pool is exceptional and the breakfast left nothing to be desired.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel was very nice. Staff extremely friendly, we even got a free upgrade to a better room. The location was great as it is very close to the city center and in the middle of an area with many shops and restaurants. One comment that I have is that the breakfast was missing labels on the food so we needed to ask in case we did not recognize the food.
GGrandTour26031310404Excellent location. But that's about where the positives end. Fairly soul-less and dated corporate small hotel. Small room (my room couldn't even fit the chair at the desk at the foot of the bed. Service at check in and breakfast was indifferent and quite unhelpful. Breakfast was not great by Israeli standard. Parking was very limited and somewhat chaotic. Your park is not held for you. Front deck continues to sell car parks so that if you leave there may not be a carpark for you when you come back (happened to me) . The whole experience gave off Ramada 3 star vibes. I did expect better. The location really is superb. Close to old city, downtown, and everywhere we had to be. But I can't recommend this hotel. Very average experience overall
ผผู้เข้าพักGood central hotel. 5 minute walk to Herod's gate. The breakfast was standard while the dinners were below average. Am convinced that the put out the same food a few days in a row. Room was serviced daily however, the towels were not replaced. No kettle and cups if you want to have something in the room. The coffee shop in the foyer is convenient
