Iberostar Playa Gaviotas Park All Inclusive

We booked this hotel as a last minute break and it did not disappoint. The entertainment for kids was great, all inclusive options were good and the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great as you were a 5 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend this hotel.

Let me start by saying that my review fully relies on my personal impression of 10 days at Iberostar which was really the best hotel we ever stayed at. So minor things couldn't spoil our vacation and didn't influence my 5 star review. If you're looking for trouble you would probably find some drawbacks to complain about. Let the story begin... Firstly, let me send kudos to the incredible animation team who always kept our kids and us engaged and entertained, namely Ana, Tania, Leon, Dani, Livia and Kati. That's definitely one of the best memories of the hotel. Kid's club and mini disco kept children busy and parents could spend some quality time together. Special thanks for Haloween party - it was impressive and unforgettable. Kids also appreciated mini Aquapark which was a highlight of our stay and all water games including air bouncing castle and magic water carpet. Restaurants and cuisine is just of the next level - everything's so tasty nearly homemade and the choice is always overwhelming! Also I'd like to mention Elina from reception who helped us in any matter during the day. Beach and the ocean is a separate story - it has so many lovely colours I've never seen in my life! Beach is sandy but during tide outs it can become quite rocky so not easy to enter the water. Last but not the least is a selection of alcoholic drinks - you can literally find anything of a good quality, so for example, there're a few descent brands of whisky, gin, rum etc. and everything's all inclusive. I haven't drunk alcohol for a few months before coming to Iberostar but that changed my attitude and I enjoyed everything they have. Now I need another rehab and detox holiday))) There were of course some smaller issues but they cannot influence my 5 star impression. First of all, this is the perfect hotel for families with smaller kids but might be boring for teenagers or younger couples. Music is played only during animation time a few hours during the day and I don't mind having it from 10 to 4, for example, to set a holiday mood but not to disturb anyone. Rooms are a bit shabby and outdated so the renovation that literally started on the last day of our stay came very handy. They promise it will have totally new look and feel next year. Way to the seaside takes around 10 minutes and it can be a bit exhausting for someone. I would suggest to have a straight stairs or an elevator from the hotel if possible. Also there's an issue with sunbeds at the beach since it's occupied by mobsters from Pasion Pirata cafe nearby. They charge 13,5 EUR per two sunbeds and umbrella per day and brutally kick away everyone who doesn't pay. I believe it's not a huge investment for Iberostar to organize sunbed area at the beach of their own. Another thing that comes to my mind is that there's only one beach volley pitch and sometimes there were queues to get into game so would appreciate the second net if possible. Other than that we've enjoyed every minute of our stay at Fuertaventu

This is a beautiful clean hotel with lovely friendly staff! The food is fab and there is a lot of choice. The beach and local area is beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel! The only comment I would make is the air con could be a little colder in the rooms and needs ro be put on in the restaurant bit otherwise its just anazing!

We went with my family including my son whom is 6 years old and brought my elderly parents along. Stayed a total duration of 5 nights in the middle of August. As with all things there are good points and bad points which I will come to talk through now. Starting with the negative (which aren't many) as mentioned in previous posts the rooms are outdated and could do with a refresh. There was not enough additional contact points in the rooms, but this was solved by taking some lamps out. Even though there was a safe in the room this would be paid additionally on a daily basis which was disappointing. There were some nights where they had a mini disco for children by the pool. Whilst this did not go on too long it did finish around approximately 22:00, so if you do want to get an early night sleep you should request a room further away from the pools Now to the positives - the location is fantastic, with the beach only 5-10 minutes walk away. Make sure to get all inclusive as the food is simply amazing and the variety on offer is fantastic. There is something for everyone! Everything was well kept and clean, everyone was very friendly and we even got an upgrade to our rooms at check in which was a fantastic bonus. We arrived a few hours before scheduled check-in but we could use the amenities in the meantime and our rooms were ready in no-time at all. Definitely a wonderful place to visit and there is something for all ages to do to be kept entertained.

Just back from such an easy happy 10 day holiday. Food was fantastic (lunch at the pool bar a favourite), unlimited ice-cream for the children, lovely beer (and branded drinks/drinkable wine) for the grown ups…just perfect and EASY. We made wonderful new friends, enjoyed the entertainment (the juke box on a Tuesday night is just brilliant!!) and had the best time. The weather was really hot, bit too windy on a couple of days which was a bit irritating but that’s how it is….would have been unbearably hot without the breeze. The beach is simply stunning and there are a few shops about 15 minutes walk (on the beach) if you’re so inclined. Pools are incredible- our 6 year old was in heaven and is missing them already . Can’t recommend it highly enough and every single member of the staff (including Denny and his sock collection and the daily cleaners) work so so hard and should be acknowledged for doing so. Advice: If you have travel sick children please give them a tablet for the coach transfer if arriving after dark….AND if you go on a dolphin finding trip. The boat ride is awesome and the dolphins magical but a little too exciting for some! Make sure you go hunting for ground squirrels, parakeets and huge red crabs!! Thank you all!! Xx

Back again at the Iberostar hotels in Morro Jable. Current and recent experience consistent in excellent amenities and service. Be advised, however, that you may judge that the Star Prestige offering in the dining room was not value for money. Food and drinks is inclusive to all guests. 1/3 of the dining room is for Star Prestige guests. The tables are set the same spacing, the seating is the same, the food is the same. The only apparent difference is a candle on the table, a full table cloth (instead of a half covering) and staff pouring your drinks.

Good day we have stayed in your Hotel from 12.03 until 22.03.2023 (Room 2405). We would like to thank you and your whole team for the perfect vacation in your hotel. Even if some of the furniture or other equipment in your hotel is a bit older, we have to say, that the cleanliness in you hotel is excellent. Begining from the room, the pool area, the pools, the hallways, the restaurant, windows, gym, etc. We have been already in severals 4+5 stars hotels, but never saw a hotel so clean like yours. The staff at the reception were very friendly and competent. They could help us anytime. Even when I had the problem in the evening with the not working toilet. The Bar team worked very quickly, so that we didn't have to wait that long to get our very tasty drinks. Even when I have asked for a special cocktail, it was not a problem for them to mix the drink (Mai Tai). We have noticed, that complete bar-team were also very friendly to all kids, when the kids have asked for Fanta or chips alone at the bar. That is what I understand of a good service. Many thanks, also to the restaurant service-team (breakfast-, lunch and dinner). They were very attentive. The tables were always set very quickly. Things that were on the floor were quickly picked up and cleaned. Food and drinks was refilled quickly when something became less. You didn't even notice the service-team were there. Perfect. Many thanks also to the kitchen staff. The food were "every day" very delicious. We also liked the variety and the freshness of the food. Now I come into my eyes to the most important point. Many, many, many.......... thanks to "Anna" an the other animation team. Sorry that I doesn't know anymore one the other names. Our son was so happy to go every day to the kids club. We are a family of 3 (mum, dad and little one 3yo). We had a great time and felt spoilt from the beginning. We had a flight delay and arrived after midnight, check in was very quick and the gentleman at reception was really friendly and helpful. With our surprise and delight, he told us that there was some food waiting in our room (he even apologise that unfortunately it was cold food). It was a plate each of prawns salad, cheese and more delicious food including breads and pastry and a plate each of dessert (custard tart) and fresh fruits, we couldn't finish it. The staff are really nice and friendly and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked to dress the pull out bed instead of the sofa bed for our little one as we didn't feel comfortable with the high, and they were very understanding and called immediately the floor staff to change it. The entertainment staff are funny friendly and you can see they work very hard to please everyone. There are many pools to choose from and all of them have an area for children were they can easily enter by themselves,on top of that there is a pool with slides for children (which our little one loved) and another smaller pool with a twin small slide for the very little ones. Sea side is a bit of a walk but not too bad (our little one did it on is own feet the whole way) and is accessible to strollers. Every single area was always clean, even in the pool restaurant you could not even find a plate or glass abandoned anywhere as the staff was constantly around to clean after even the most messy people including in the pool area. We were lucky to be able to go to the Spa with our little one as they decided to do family sessions that week, it was amazing for all 3 of us, little one was amazed by the bubbles and the warm pool :D Cherry on the cake, for our anniversary not only they decorated our bed with the lovely towel swans and petals but they spoiled us with macaroons and a bottle of bubbles in our room. There you can rent balance bike, children scooters and strollers for the kids which we found it super useful and cheap (4euro for the entire day). You can also rent bikes for grown up. The staff at reception were also happy to give advise when we asked where to go for a walk around and a taste of local food. Talking about food we loved it from breakfast to dinner. There were always new things to try as well as some to enjoy everyday (like churros and pancakes). Plenty of variety: cold, hot, freshly cooked in front of you, fish of different types, meat, vegetarian, seafood etc. You can have known brand of ice-cream all day as well as expressed and fresh ice-cream (lunch and dinner only). There is not a single second were you can't find some sort of delicious food and drink. Room are really spacious, our little one was even able to have a his own space to play with his toys without messing around. If I really have to find something on the down side it would be that it need a bit of an update around,

Overall good resort for a cheap and cheerful family break in the Canaries. Fuerteventura. Great wether if a bit windy, staff now super helpful, good pool selection but the waterrpark not suitable for over 8years. Food selection was ok. Loved the beach and chipmunks. Overall we had a nice break but this is a very standard 4 star hotel in a nice location but not sea front. Loved the villa you can get electric scooters to along the seafront.
