The perfect place in just a right spot. This is the quiet part of the island and we really loved coming here during the low season, as it was the perfect time to relax and recharge. Clean, new and well maintained. Very simple design of the rooms, but effective and cozy, right ballance between traditional and contemporary. Food was really good. Nicely ballanced menu, prepaired by the very good galley team. But all of this would not mean anything without the staff. Suzana, Antonia, Lea, Bonie, Simba, Mohamed, Eddy and the rest of the team are heart of Alma and for sure the guests will be back to feel the wirmth and extreme hospitality. They made us feel like home. Thank you for the perfect vacation.

This place is a dream! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you could ever want. The room was beautiful, clean, and full of special touches. Pool is serene and looks out over the white sand beach. A great place to hang while the tide is out. They prepared a beautiful candlelit dinner on the beach for our honeymoon and a floating picnic to enjoy poolside. The seafood platter was overflowing with lobster, prawns, tuna, veggies, and chips. Mika made our stay even more special because he was so friendly and accommodating. We would stay for longer if we could afford it!

Alma is truly a special place.Beautiful, well kept and perfectly managed. I loved the vibe , nightly entertainment, the friendly staff. The pool and the beach area are incredibly relaxing. The rooms are simply beautiful, true luxury and comfort. I would highly recommend Alma to anyone for peace, tranquility, amazing service, great food, lovely people and beautiful property.

This boutique hotel is truly exceptional. The food, services, rooms, location can be rated 5 stars. Highly recommended! The room and decorations are modern and stylish. They serve fresh fish directly from the local fishermen which come everyday to the hotel with the catch of the day. The services are exemplary, all personnel being friendly and taking maximum care of the customers. The location is relaxing and not crowded being between Paje and Jambiani. Our whole experience and vacation were lovely.

Had a great stay, loved the lunches and dinners. The chef had a dinner for me ready upon my very late arrival of 11 pm, which was very nice

Definitely one of the best places in Zanzibar. Very cosy, friendly ambiance. Well designed and taken care of. They don’t save on furniture, appliances, bed clothes, etc. A lot of staff to keep it clean and meet all your requests without delays. Nice restaurant with high end service. Very decent wine list. Maybe they should offer bigger variety of seafood since it is on the beach) Hope to stay with them again one day.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alma Boutique Hotel. The rooms were superb! The staff were so attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. The location of the Hotel is also very good - it was an easy walk to Paje and also to "main Jambiani" in the other direction. Thank you all!

Had an amazing time in the hotel, the rooms are beautiful and I love the location. Went with My Family, food and service is amazing. Staff were super friendly catering every need. Having a small gym was a plus as I managed to work out a bit too.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Jambiani / Paje area. The premises are 5-stars (even better in real life), from the room to the pool or dining areas, and the beach is just beautiful. You have plenty of places around in case you are looking to do any kitesurf / other excursions.
