Had a nice and comfortable stay. Wonderful views of the fort from many of the rooms. Comfortable bed and beautiful golden sandstone decor to go with the feel of Jaisalmer. Very caring staff. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Great restaurant with chefs and staff who cared for our dietary needs. They can cater to Asian, European, Local as well as some Indian regional cuisines. Restaurant has beautiful views of the fort as well. Thanks for the hospitality.
The hotel is a small one with only 9 rooms in it but worth staying!! The traveller should chose the rooms facing the fort. The rooms are clean and made on daily basis. The owner of the hotel is a great person with putting all his efforts to provide best services to the guests. The cook Kurbaan prepares great dishes. The only issue is that they charge for petty items also like papad, morning tea etc in spite of taking all inclusive deals but the the prices are genuine. Didn't mind! Overall, a wounderful budget stay!
I had an unforgettable 2-day stay at Gobindgarh Jaisalmer with my family! The property itself is a stunning luxury retreat, offering breathtaking views and incredible comfort. What really made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. The butler was incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. The little details and thoughtful touches throughout our stay made a big difference. If you're in Jaisalmer and want a memorable, luxurious experience, Gobindgarh is the place to be!
This was my maiden trip with my family and the maiden one to Jaisalmer too, so a lot of firsts and glad that the experience turned out to be an amazing one, thanks to the excellent hospitality and accommodations by the General Manager Mr.Kartik. Right from the welcome, till our departure, he was instrumental in ensuring that our stay was a pleasant and memorable one. The concept of glamping is albeit a new one for me and the camps didn't disappoint for the price. The overall aesthetic was pleasing and the camps were well equipped with the all the amenities one could have hoped for. The tents were strategically placed and had comfortable furniture arrangements with appropriate lighting, ventilation and heating apparatus. The management and staff were also gracious enough to accommodate our special request for mild decorations and a cake cutting ceremony for my daughter, whom the trip was planned for. It was a great experience for her, something to be cherished for a long time. The camp manager also arranged for our Jeep safari, at a nominal price and the adventure activities were aplenty in the area, ***** with the complimentary camel ride to their private desert island. The cultural performance program in the evening had palpable excitement and made the mood better for all present. The dinner spread was absolutely sumptuous and adequate variety of food were present for all types of cuisines. The morning breakfast spread was also quite a delicious bunch, catering to all sensibilities across. Overall a wonderful experience, primarily due to the General Manager, Mr.Kartik and his staff. Looking forward to the next visit.
SSafwaanThis hotel is very close to the drop off point for bus and coaches. You can see the main castle fort tower from the rooftop. The town itself is small so close to everywhere too.
The building is clean. The room is nice and traditional with nice decor. The staff are polite and helpful
and I especially enjoyed talking to the waiter at breakfast time and practicing my language skills. He had a good sense of humour and advice for navigating the town and shops
The restaurant is rooftop and has nice views. The prices are in line with other restaurants in the town. I would recommend. I booked several days more here too.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe staff were supportive and felt like staying in haveli. Reach there on day 1 to take a tour to the safari where you can book at the hotel only and enjoy the scenic view of sand dunes with good hospitality. Next day go for the city tour. For sure the city has too much to show and this stay will make you satisfied with nice hosting
Beautiful hotel, peaceful and quiet with stunning architecture. Our room was luxurious, spacious and clean, with a large comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The hotel has a cascading swimming pool and a rooftop terrace which is great for breakfast with a view of the fort. We opted for the deluxe suite whilst staying in Jaisalmer after several mid-range hotels in other places and revelled in the size and luxury of the suite. Large bedroom, large bathroom with his and hers wash basins and a great shower, living room with sofas and a fridge. The manager Raj was great but the other staff in general weren’t the friendliest we’ve come across, not sure whether that’s due to shyness or trying to be professional but they weren’t overly warm. We loved our stay and how close to the fort we were. Would definitely recommend.
It is the most amazing place to stay in Jaisalmer. Ba - the host, is an ablosute walking charm❤️ we stayes for the dessert trip and it was the best night of our lives. Very nice experience, safari, quad bike and camel ride was good and stay was comfortable with all facilities. Traditional dance and songs were good. Sunset with camel ride is a good experience.you can enjoy your stay with family and have a quiet peaceful stay
MMousmiThe location is approx 2 kms away from the fort which is well accessible if you are traveling with car. This is a newly started hotel, the service was average as I believe they are learning. Though they fulfilled all our requirements but at times we had to push for it. There is parking space for 3-4 cars. Overall the experience was good, we recommend Travellers can select this property.
