"The hotel’s location is excellent. It is right next to the entrance of the Ming Tomb Scenic Area and very close to Meiling Palace, which gives guests the rare advantage of enjoying the area in its quieter, more peaceful moments before the crowds arrive. The property itself is beautifully designed, and our room was lovely. One unexpected highlight was the view from our room window—we even felt it was quite comparable to the view from Soong Mei-ling’s bedroom window at Meiling Palace, which was a real delight and made our stay feel extra special. Because the hotel has so much potential, we genuinely hope our feedback can help improve the guest experience even further. The first area is staff training. The reception staff felt somewhat undertrained and quite rigid during our check-in. The interaction felt transactional rather than welcoming, and the overall check-in process was not as smooth as we had expected. The second area is arrival and transportation support. The hotel did not proactively contact us before arrival or provide clear information about access. We were not informed in advance that Didi and taxis can only stop at Ucove Hyatt, and from there guests need to walk with their luggage to the hotel themselves. In other hotels located in restricted-access areas, we have experienced much better support—such as luggage transport service, or at least a staff member meeting guests at the drop-off point to guide them or help with bags. Unfortunately, no such support was offered here, which made arrival a bit inconvenient. Lastly, we found communication around dining could be improved. The restaurant staff only stayed until around 6pm, but this was not mentioned to us beforehand. Because of that, we had to look for dinner elsewhere in the area in the dark where dining options nearby are quite limited. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with a lot to offer. We truly enjoyed the aesthetics of the property and our room. With a bit more attention to staff training, guest communication, and service details, we feel the experience could become even better and fully live up to the potential of such a lovely property."

"The hotel store front does not look the same as the website. The hotel is actually in the middle of the triple stories stores. The hotel is pretty old. Inside the room is a bit of stuffy and old. Luckily the toilet is very clean and located right next to the tourist spot."

"The hotel is nice and clean but it is located deep inside of a fenced community that’s a bit far to go in and out by walk. It has a 20 minutes walk to both two nearby subway stations. During our stay, the front desk delivered our food orders to our doors which is nice. They seem to have not experienced many foreigners, and asked us to write up the registration form ourselves. The bed is not as comfortable as we’d expect especially for the person who sleeps in the inner side of the bed. The shower is not that well maintained. It feels more like a restaurant. Besides we were given a room with the whole window facing a corridor wall, besides, it’s easy to see inside our room from the corridor window above, it’s really a privacy issue. Overall I beard with the three days of stay but I probably won’t come again."
