We had a great weekend at the hotel. We have been customers for the past 4 years and we always go at the beginning of the season. From the first moment we were impressed with the hotel and its location – traditional Maniatika houses with stone and wood – particularly large in size with expensive materials and good taste, in an olive grove with a small private sandy beach, with clear and shallow waters and a view of Gythio. However we faced a difference between quality, location and service. Year after year the service improved but the quality of the food remained low, always in line with the high quality of the hotel and its dreamy surroundings. But in 2023, when Konstantinos Kyriazis became the new Director, we saw a big difference in service, in the kind hospitality and in the willingness to please the customer. Nevertheless, there was an issue with the cleanliness of the beach, the customer service on the beach and of course the food at the hotel. In 2024 when we went again, the same Manager welcomed us with the joy and courtesy you expect as an old and repeated customer and with extra facilities that enslaved us, while we saw that the problems of the beach were now solved. But our biggest pleasant surprise was that the hotel had a Chef, Chef Akis Drougas, and we enjoyed our evening with a wonderful dinner in a wonderful environment with a very nice list of Greek wines. The cuisine is modern Greek, as we expect it to be in a Greek boutique hotel. He was very kind and willing to serve us with a sur mesure meal on Sunday afternoon, just as we wished and suited us. This hotel is a little gem and we hope it remains as it is, with the right ratio of quality and price so that we can enjoy it in the future and it will not become a hotel only for foreigners in Greece.
