Lindner Hotel Oberstaufen

great location, and views. BUT, upgraded king rooms are merely two twins pushed together. Didnt even get King bedding. Restaurant provides VERY limited options (three entrees, meat, fish or salad at 49 euros each). Probably wouldn't come back. I had high hopes but was not satisfied.

My family and I had a lovely time here on holiday. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel checks all the boxes. Hotel was beautiful and well kept. Restaurant was delicious and service was outstanding. There’s a one-of-kind, incredible park just outside the hotel that we loved. I hope we have the opportunity to stay again.

We stayed at Lindner for 3 nights in march 22. We really enjoyed this hotel. They were greeted friendly and checked in quickly. The food at the hotel restaurant is pricey but it was delicious. We really enjoyed the hotel bar, it is very comfortable to sit there and the cocktails and drinks are really yummy. We can also recommend the spa area. Amazing saunas! I really liked the interior of the hotel. It's also just a short walk into town. Great location. Buffet breakfast was good, there's something for everyone I reckon. One thing I didn't like was the stuffy air in our room. We left the window open at night so we have fresh air but it was still stuffy and too warm for my liking. All in all I can recommend staying here for short weekend getaway 🙂

I booked a comfort room (one above regular) for a hefty €315. On that level Lindner hotel in Oberstaufen is not matching expectations. My room was over the kitchen with noise until late night, the bed had cheap plastic duvet and pillow, the underground carpark is a carport not suitable for all cars, reception was not very welcoming (haven't even asked how my stay was, else I had told them instead of writing here), no service at breakfast etc. See, all no big things and nothing wrong with that if you are a €150 hotel. Pretending the luxurious Spa thingy, this went south.

Tolle Lage, sehr gutes Personal, leckeres Essen. Man kann unglaublich viel unternehmen. Das Allgäu wie es sein sollte!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, Zimmer sauber, zum Park hin ruhig, Umgebung schön zum Wandern. Halbpension nicht zu empfehlen, bestenfalls Kantinenniveau ( konnte auch durch sehr nettes Servicepersonal nicht ausgeglichen werden).

Die Wander-, Yoga- und Wassergymnastik-Leiterin Cora ist sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam und weiss einfach alles über Oberstaufen...Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Frühstückbuffet und das Salatbuffet super. Jedoch das Hauptgangbuffet lässt zu wünschen übrig. Der Fisch ist trocken, der Risotto eine Pappe, das Gemüse kalt. Dafür steht man lange Zeit an und dann wird geschöpft.....es wird alles auf den Teller geworfen.....nicht zu empfehlen...Leider!
