We had a wonderful stay! The view of the river was stunning. The meals were excellent. The service by all the staff was kind and welcoming. We loved the breakfast staff each day. We were easily able to walk to many locations. Our room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. Our room was right above the check in which was super convenient. Huge room w/ amazing view. The staff were super friendly. The whiskey distillery was beautiful & the bartenders were very knowledgeable & funny. At breakfast find Elenor, the manager & a highland cow (her words), she has great travel trips & is an incredible person. Find her!!!

Pros: The hotel is at a great location. Food is Ok. Room size OK Cons: Staff is very rude, no hospitality, very bad experience. Bathroom door latch broken. No intercom in the room. No complimentary toiletries If you need extra tea bags or coffee sachets you will feel that you are asking for gold biscuits from them. Check in time 4 pm which is very late. At the time of check in they didnt inform that they take late check out charges after 11 am. No grace time for check out..which is very strange. Just minting money as much possible from the customers. There are other cheaper hotels in the same location, which one can opt. Overall will not recommend!

Updated large room looking out over the river in the Waterside building. Great location ... walk both sides of the river and close to the core shopping area. Restaurant was very busy in the mornings but staff were hustling to keep everything moving. Excellent stay .... would book again for next visit.

Staff were friendly upon check in. First impressions of the room was nice but it looked tired around the edges. Our room was on the ground floor and overlooked the river which was very nice but there were no blinds and everyone walking past could see in so were forced to close the curtains on a lovely day so would suggest some sort of privacy screen to improve this for guests. The bed wasnt very comfortable and the head board banged when you moved. The room also wasn't soundproof, could hear fellow guest walking around upstairs and others blowing their nose. Breakfast was lovely, the food was really tasty. It gets busy so you need to book in. Only annoyance was being asked repeatedly if we wanted coffee by the same girl when we already had teas ordered and in front of us. Perhaps some training required there. Parking is free and the hotel is in a great location. Make sure you get to the car park early as it gets very busy.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to town and lots of restaurants. Our room was in the main building and overlooked the river ness, which was lovely. The room had high ceilings, big windows and plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was cramped, and you had to step in and out of a high bathtub to take a shower. Also, there is no elevator if you are on an upper floor. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. A few picky things: there are no USB ports, so make sure you bring a converter and plugs, and they do not provide tissues, shampoo, or skin moisturizer.

We chose this hotel only because it was right where we needed to be the next morning for the next part of our trip. Communication wasn’t great before the trip, no response to messages left on ******* app but they did send me an email asking me to book dinner and the brewery tour. Receptionist could do with some smile training. Our family room was right up in the attic, and in a different building from the reception area, in light rain, outdoors no lifts, so we carried our own heavy luggage up two floors. And watch your head in some parts of the room. The rooms themselves were very nice and beds were comfortable with great views of the River Ness. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided but no fridge and no safe. Toiletries only included hand soap and shower gel. No conditioner. That’s the minimum I expect for the price paid. Bathroom was quite large enough but not very practical with no where to put down our toiletry bag or clothes. Breakfast quite good.

This was our first trip to Scotland and Glen Mhor was idyllic in every sense of the word. The staff were very helpful when it came to figuring out what to do around town and selecting tours. Our room was clean and had a lovely view. The distillery was a plus and the bar tenders were very well informed and took the time to walk us through a scotch tasting. Overall would recommend!!

My second stay at Glen Mhor. The rooms are spacious with lovely beds. I particularly enjoyed the view of the river. Great location I will definitely be back. Breakfasts are ok but think the staff could be slightly friendlier although some did try. The distillery looks amazing although I did not get to try it, it’s a must for my next visit.
