One of the worst Marriott experiences I’ve had. Despite appropriately low expectations for an airport hotel, this one still disappointed. The site says there’s a shuttle from the airport. It never arrived. When we finally arrived (after having to take a taxi) there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We waited for 10 minutes as the line to check in grew longer and longer. We even tried to call the hotel from within the lobby multiple times, but nobody answered – apparently the same AWOL staff assigned to the front desk answers the phones. The restaurant in the lobby was atrocious – more like what you’d find in a cheap motel than a full-service Marriott. We had a suite with a pull-out couch. The pull out couch had no linens, just a bare mattress. When we called down (finally getting through) to ask for it to be made up, we were told they don’t do that. They pointed us to the linens in the closet and told us to make the bed ourselves. All in all, terrible service. Stay somewhere else if you need to overnight near O’Hare.
SStef4979Best park and stay for sure! Queen beds (most in the area have double beds). Comfortable, shuttle that came every 15 minutes (I would say even more often but possibly because it was Spring Break week). Accommodating with a rollaway bed. Great restaurant/bar and my son left his running watch and it was turned in my cleaning staff so we got that back easily. I've stayed at so many park and stays in Chicago and this is my go to now.
