The apartment is a lower level walk out: private, quiet and secluded. Renting is, 4 pm on arrival day to 11 am on departure day.Completely renovated a few years ago. Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach (ocean side beaches) are approximately two miles, and it is less than a 1/4 mile to Cape Cod Rail Trail and 1/2 mile to Nauset Bike Trail to Coast Guard Beach. Mature gardens are in bloom. Cats are welcome (keep indoors). Dogs are negotiable. We have three Persian cats--Melvin, Moses and their sister Marley--who you may see out on their enclosed "catio." Our comfortable three bedroom, two bath home is situated on a private road a short distance from the National Seashore, bay beaches, restaurants and bike trails. From June 15th through August 31st this home may only be rented in 7 day blocks that begin each Saturday at 4PM. From May 18th through June 15th, September and October our home may be rented for three day minimum bookings. A nice quiet location on dead end gravel road. The house and it's furnishings are in excellent condition! Features one bedroom on the main level with a king bed and two bedrooms on the second level, one with a queen and one with two single beds. There is a rear deck, outdoor shower, fire pit, cable TV, internet and more. Just North of Orleans and Chatham and South of Wellfleet and P'town, a great base location for exploring the outer Cape. There is an outdoor shower, screened in porch, gas grill, fireplace and central A/C and ceiling fans for the summer months. The home is well appointed in simplistic and comfortable style. It s the perfect spot for a couple or small family. Please note, the maximum guests are two individuals. Given that this is a small house, the cottage has limited closet space. There is ample storage under the beds for clothes and two areas with shelves available for guests. As much as we would love to host guests with dogs, some canines have not been well behaved at the cottage. We no longer can allow dogs or pets of any kind. The home is a very short walk to Fort Hill and preserved uplands on the National Seashore with spectacular views of Nauset Marsh and the Outer beach. We love our house. We have been going to this house on the Cape for 35 years and would like to share it with you. Located on a quiet, shady, sand road. Great for relaxing, reading, listening to quiet music, playing croquet, picnicking, etc. When you do decide to venture out, there are lots of close options such as the National Seashore beaches, the bay beaches, the Massachusetts Audubon Society trails, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, hiking trails, shopping, miniature golf, the local drive-in movie, a Cape Cod Baseball game and lots more. Close to the regional high school and lower cape conference centers.This single-story house has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, kitchen and a family room/dining area. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. An outdoor shower and a detached garage are helpful additions. For hot summer days, the house has central air conditioning.At the bay beach, a half mile away and a nice after-dinner walk, the sunsets are spectacular. Each one is unique and it's a treat to watch the sun set over the water.
