Sceptical with the hotel quality in Madinah, however Saja Al Madinah hotel proved me arong. There are great hotel with affordables price in Madinah.
The check-in procedure was very smooth. Room is very clean. Plus point on the number of elevator available in this hotel, to avoid congesstion during pray time. Location is great, can be easily access from the outer road side, no need to enter the crowded inner road area.
I stayed at this hotel in Medina coming from Mecca. The rooms are all in one floor. Same floor as the restaurant and the mall. Checking in was easy and seamless. Dian helped us and made our stay enjoyable. He went out of his way to make sure we have all we needed. Breakfast was amazing kudus to chef Hares Elsayed is definitely top class chef. Nasrulsin working hard to ensure everyone’s needs are met. Sama at the reception was very helpful and courteous. Assisted us and was always smiling and helpful. I see Leena on the main floor always asking us if we need anything. All in all the service and staff in this hotel is top notch and one of the best experiences I had in a Marriott hotel being a reward Member for the 13 years. I had a 2 bedroom apartment and was very spacious and clean. The hotel is a far from Alharam but the shuttle is always on time for all prayers. It takes 15-20 minutes. It’s connected to the mall where all kinds of food are available. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here if I come back to beautiful Medina
The hotel is just next to the airport from where there are direct public buses (bus number/line 400, running roughly every 30 minutes, journey time 20 minutes) to Al Haram. The furniture in the room is a bit aged, but other than that it is perfect for a few nights for exploring the city. Even though it is next to the airport the noise from the planes could not be heard in the room. The buffet breakfast is OK for 1-2 nights.
There is no shop around the area except for McDonals. Hotel provide free shuttle coaster to masjid Nabawi 3 times for each solat time. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast are mostly middle eastern, can be better with more International menus.
AAbrar2483One of the best hotels near Masjid Al Nabawi! The staff are incredible! From the moment I arrived, Hassan from concierge assisted me with my bags and the staff at the reception were very friendly and they not only allowed me to check-in early but also upgraded my room with a partial Haram View! All the staff spoke English perfectly. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and the amenities provided in the room are perfect from bathrobes to multiple kits! The room was relatively clean however I’ve notice multiple finger prints on the refrigerator door as well as the bathroom door which shows those 2 areas weren’t wiped after the previous guests had left. The shower was perfect with nice hot water and the bathroom was spacious enough.
The hotel has 2 towers and we didn’t know which tower to go to so we ended up going to tower 1 were the receptionist informed us that our booking is in tower 2. I had an elderly guest with me and moving towers like this was very inconvenient. The hotel should inform the guests about the tower number and parking instructions before arriving at the hotel.
The hotel is very close to the Haram with just 6-7 minutes walk to both the men’s and the women’s entrance (door 11 and 12). Upon returning to the hotel, the staff were promptly situated outside the elevator doors assisting guests with the elevators.
About the breakfast. It was fantastic! The options available were great and included selections of
cold appetizers, bakery items, main courses including french toast and pancakes. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and they never said no, especially Riaz he served us coffee and hot chocolate. The items were being refilled quickly. The 2 ladies welcomed us for breakfast with a huge smile.
Suggestions to improve breakfast:
1) there was no live cooking counter for omelette. The omlette was being cooked in the kitchen and was being stocked in the hot plate. It would be great if the hotel could consider introducing live counter for omelette as it really would help us guests to make the perfect omelette for ourselves and eating it warm and fresh. Other hotels do have a live counter.
2) Though all the breakfast items were great, the French toast wasn’t good at all! It didn’t taste like a French toast. The sambosas were undercooked and very chewy so wasn’t able to eat them. Improvements on this will make the breakfast experience perfect!
One more thing to add is that the staff not once said “No”. They always accommodated our requests whatsoever. I asked the reception for a plastic chair for my elderly mother to sit and take a shower, thought they didn’t have it, they offered us to switch to an accessible room with no additional costs!
The hotel is not very busy and crowded as I didn’t see any groups here. I hope the hotel can maintain this very same standard or else it’ll be very easy to be like the other hotels who don’t care about guests.
All in all, I’ll definitely choose Al Manakha Rotana again on my next trip to Madinah and wishing this hotel success!
BBabarGreat location just a block away from Masjid Nabawi near gate 37 which is a few feet away from blessed gate 1. Lots of near by shopping as usual with shops open till midnight.
Hotel lobby is open and clean with dates and refreshing water offered all day long. Huge sitting area at the mezzanine level where families can gather.
Breakfast was great with fresh eggs made to order, huge hot and cold selection. Manager of breakfast and his staff were super nice and very accommodating.
Room service staff very friendly and also very nice and informative.
But the best for us was the laundry service. For the days we were there, Alhumdulillah it rained daily which of course is quite refreshing and with a family of 5 we had lots of wet clothes. Unfortunately the clothes didn’t dry up in room air as quickly as we thought. So we requested the laundry service to dry them which they did ASAP given our flight time.
One downside, we had two room as part of the Ambassador suite and one the small rooms AC didn’t work. Weather was cool but certainly needed AC. Had it been in summer, then it would have been unbearable.
Stunning hotel – and the best location ever ! The hotel is bang opposite – Roz E Pak – Green Dome – and every prayer I was lucky and blessed to pay Salaams and walk straight into the hotel. What even made our stay memorable were the amazing Super stars @ the hotel. The lady who checked us in - in spite of being a packed house – ( The lobby literary was flooded with people ) she checked us in a flash. The Breakfast TENT – was unbelievable – what a view from there and the décor was simply outstanding – the breakfast menu was sumptuous and tasty Also the superstars were the housekeeping team on floor 4 – Liton and Rakib – they were thorough professional in their works !
