"The location is excellent — conveniently located near the main road, making it easy to find and access. Each room comes with its own private balcony, perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning mountain views of Kundasang. We especially enjoyed our time there as we brought along our own camping table and chairs, which made the balcony experience even more enjoyable. Parking was a breeze — we could park our car right in front of our room, which made unloading luggage super convenient. The on-site café also offered a good variety of food and drinks, whether you’re after a light snack or a satisfying meal. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway in Kundasang!"

"โรงแรม Perkasa เป็นหนึ่งในที่พักที่ดีที่สุดใน Kundasang เราไม่ได้เลือกทานอาหารเช้าเพราะอยากลองคาเฟ่ใน Kundasang อากาศเย็นสบาย ห้องพักของเราหันหน้าไปทางภูเขาคินาบาลู วิวสวยมาก เราลองทานอาหารกลางวันที่ร้านอาหารของโรงแรม อาหารอร่อย ราคาโอเค คาเฟ่ที่ดีที่สุดที่เราลองคือ HOOGA CAFE อาหารอร่อย บริการดี และราคาสมเหตุสมผลมาก จากโรงแรมของเราไปถึงตัวเมืองใช้เวลาขับรถเพียง 5 นาที สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวส่วนใหญ่อยู่ไม่ไกล แต่คุณจำเป็นต้องมีรถ แคมป์ Polumpong Melangkap เป็นสถานที่ที่ต้องไปให้ได้ อยู่ห่างจากโรงแรมประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมงกว่าๆ ดังนั้นเราจึงตัดสินใจไปเมื่อเราขับรถลงไป KK โดยรวมแล้วเราสนุกกับการเดินทางของเรา"

"Arriving at 11.15am i was asked to pay a surcharge of 20RMB per hour if i wanted access to my room before official check-in time of 2pm. The hotel appeared empty. The rooms are clean with nice full height windows. There is bottled water, kettle, and 2 t-bags. There is no TV, no fridge, and no blankets, though blankets are available for an extra charge (the hotel is at an altitude of approx 1,200m, so its chilly in the evenings). Staff didn't speak Rnglish, but with Google Translate they did help arrange a taxi back to KK. There is no restaurant or eating options until you return to the main road - 1.6 kms away uphill. Overall, staff were distant but helpful when approached. I wouldn't stay there again."

"Это потрясающее место! В номере 2 кровати и диванчин,немного все уставшее. Но с учетом расположения все компенсируется. Есть насыпная парковка для машин. Можно побродить по чайной плантации,рядом классное кафе с разными блюдами с добавлением чая. Ночью слышны гекконы,птицы и т.д. нашему ребенку это было очень не обычно😅"

"July 2024 TL;DR: This place feels more like a meditation centre than a hotel, it will not provide you with supplements. It's a bare room. You need to bring toothbrush&paste and buy drinks somewhere as it is not provided. No tv and fan. No in-house restaurant. There are mosquitoes at the garden near afternoon, and the balcony at night, but there are no insects in the room (family room). In exchange you will get a very clear and vivid Mt Kinabalu view in the near-dawn morning (where there is no mosquito), a working shower with heater, concrete floor that reduces nearby noise, and cold foggy experience. Long: This place is within the fog path so you will get the foggy experience. You can also see Mt. Kinabalu at the right time and it looks quite close (e.g. dawn 6 a.m.). You can even see the electric towers and resthouse, it's that close. Moreover, this place is more like a meditation centre than a hotel. It is visibly run down probably since covid as that is also when the in-house restaurant got closed down. Considering my experience as a recurrent visitor of Kundasang, mosquito has always been the least of my concern. Somehow this place has lots of them. We got bit quite a lot in a short span of time. Undesirable / Cons: -No water kettle, no supplements (water bottle, coffee pack, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). Porcelain mugs are provided though -No in-house cafe/restaurant but nearby has a few (400 meters at least) -No tv, no fan but cold in general -Quite a lot of mosquito and moths outside at the garden place in the afternoon and at the balcony connecting the 2 buildings at night. There are no electric zapper. -Seems a bit run down at the garden. 2 broken board pieces on the floor for example. -It has no Qibla for muslim people, at least in family room Desirable / Pros: -Big room. Not smelly -Is cement board floor -Big single beds. Not smelly -Clean bed. Fluffy cover. -Water heater is working for family room at least -Relatively clean inside room and at reception. No insects in room. No weird bugs around. -Has a table and chairs in room -Lots of electrical port -Wifi provided by hotel is strong (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz -Very near main road. So good road going towards the hotel -Aki-Aki trail starting point is nearby. Plan to go next time so no experience as of this review This place is not too bad. Not too good either. Personally, I wouldn't place this as my top place for the foggy and view considering other options but I don't mind returning if necessary. It will sure be much much better to highly recommended with much needed renovation and have some methods to deal with those mosquito. p.s. There's a cute puppy that invites you at the entrance. 😂 p.s.s. I saw a greater coucal gliding into the forest in the morning!"

"The hotel is quite new and clean. The road to the hotel is a little bit bumpy but overall I enjoy the stay. Got the treeview room but the view from outside the hotel is nice. The breakfast is blindbox style and only will know on that day"

"這次的目的地主要是來神山玩，在攜程篩選了幾家神山附近的酒店後選擇的這一家，主要是參考了地理位置，酒店價格和評價。我是一個人自駕從亞庇機場到酒店，路程是2個小時，酒店在一個山谷裏，會經過崎嶇小路，兩側很多茂密的熱帶植物，到了酒店後有一種豁然開朗的感覺，視角也非常的棒，可以看到層層疊疊的羣山和非常低的雲層，尤其日出的時候很治癒，工作人員的態度很友善，因為地處山中房間裏有小昆蟲，我叫服務員幫我清理了出去，她們都很有耐心。酒店的風景是沒得説的，可以看山也可以看下面的小木屋，就算什麼都不做發發呆吹吹風也很值得了，距離神山開車5分鐘，周邊還有風景宜人的奶牛公園神山牧場，都是非常美麗的。酒店院裏的貓貓狗狗大多時慵懶的曬着太陽睡着大覺。雖然酒店的房間設施是比較基本的，也沒有早餐，但還是覺得整體的體驗感是不錯的，主打一個寧靜舒適的氛圍。期待以後有時間再來入住，也推薦給大家。"

"Best spot ever if you want to catch a perfect view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning. Best time is from 6am - 8am. WVF also sediakan us breakfast, setanding dgn harga bayaran tapi kenyang dan sedap. The place so peaceful, senyap sambil dgr bunyi air terjun. Jalan menuju ke WVF dihujung jalan hampir ke farmstay agak ke dalam dan susur jalan berbukit, pls extra be careful. Di WVF ada kedai runcit yang serba lengkap ala2 spt watsons hahaha & they also ada sediakan add-on steambot RM25/pax. Harga byrn bilik setanding dgn accommodation & breakfast. Kakak2 receptionist sangat baik dan murah dgn senyuman. 😍"
