"Location 8/10:
A little too far from the JR station, where the buses and the taxi stations are.
Staff:
Very polite, very helpful.
Facilities:
i can't smell cigarettes residues, but i can definitely feel it on the blankets, kind of sticky. Luckily, there are fresh sheets. The blankets are a little overkill for summers anyway.
individual showers plus bath tub, toilets. Although it's a little small, but it gets the job done. You also got free TV, with movies and stuff, BTW, people with kids might need have more parental control over the remote."
"This hotel has a fantastic location as it is near to the Shingu station and the other key places of interests like the Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha, Asuka Jinja Shrine and the Shingu Castle Ruin. Of course food and cafe are everywhere and some near the hotel.
There is a nice cafe across the Jo to the left known as Tanpuku and a nice local Japanese home-cooked food restaurant know as Masaya.
There are washing machines for use at 200¥.
Some not so good areas are:
1. You can only have service or attention at 3pm.
2. No free coffee, tea or soft drinks (like Komenoi and Dormy Inn)
3. Drinking water is only from the tap.
4. Small Onsen pool that is rectangular in size for about 10-12 pax max.
Check out my other reviews and you shall find some good recommendations for authentic Japanese cuisines. Ye"
