"Located close to Ram Mandir temple and a quick auto-rickshaw drive from hotel to temple. Hotel itself is visible from main road, but the entrance to the hotel is little interior and very small road to get there, but within 1 minute walking distance from main road. Fairly newly constructed hotel and rooms, so some construction work still going on. At times it might look dirty, but once completed, I am sure this would be a good hotel to stay. I would definitely come back and stay here for future visits. Staff were very friendly and room service was excellent. They have a restaurant in the building serving food for brunch and dinner, but its extra to pay for it. Lots of restaurants near the Ram Mandir temple as alternatives."
"I couldn't have asked for a better stay for me and my family (including elderly parents) in Ayodhya. The location is an absolute gem which helped us cover everything on foot (I mean literally everything important - Ram Mandir, Hanuman Gadhi, Sita ki Rasoi, Tulsi Smarak Bhavan, Railway station etc other attractions can be reached by opting for shared rick for ₹10 per person).
Yes the property is still under construction as also pointed by other reviewers however you wouldn't feel a thing when you are inside. The owners are pretty candid about their current state and future plans. It is a family owned hotel and thier passion to improve hospitality for the guests and it was visible in their approach. Yes there could be certain housekeeping issues but hey which hotel doesn't have it. What I liked about them was their openess to learn and implement. When I reached the housekeeping staff were going through additional trainings and new uniforms were being introduced.
The rooms were spotless and attention to details were visible. Everything was curated and selected with a fine sense of taste in mind. Beds were comfortable, linen was clean and toliteries were provided (i loved the moisturizer 😉)
They have big plans for future including a glass top temple view restaurant. I wish them luck and whenever I go back I will be staying with them.
Noteable names : Ankit Ji - Property Manager, Pandey Ji - Housekeeping Incharge, Shreyansh and Akshat Ji - Owners.
Closing note: If you want a hassle free stay in Ayodhya dtay with The Raghavas. Keep your mind open for minor issues here and there considering they are still new. Give them constructive feedback and not criticize, don't forget what you are paying now may not be the rate when the hotel is ready full-fledged 🙂.
Attaching some photos clicked on my phone.
Important: If you are driving make sure you are aware of traffic restrictions. Non local vehicles have certain entry timing slots - to avoid disappointment and discomfort please liaise with The Raghavas management who can help you with ground level updates."
"Hotel was at walkable distance to Ram Mandir. Rooms were small but neat and clean. AC worked perfectly and the owners are really good. Receptionist did check on us for our time of arrival. Washroom size was small but it was neat as well. It’s a new property and we enjoyed our stay here. Wifi signals were weak and they can work on getting strong wifi. Also the lift was not working but management said the work is going on and will be completed in few weeks. I would recommend others to stay here."
PPANCHALExcellent Stay, Great Location and Value for Money
I had one of the best stays at this hotel in Chennai. I stayed for 3 nights and it truly felt like a luxury experience at a reasonable price. The location is a major advantage centrally placed and easily accessible to many parts of the city.
The rooms are spacious, the bed linen was clean, and the bathroom was well maintained with proper toiletries provided. They also supply water bottles and there’s a water dispenser (water can) available in the hallway, which is a nice touch.
They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. However the breakfast closes a bit early at 10 AM so plan accordingly. Car parking is available, which is convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, A special mention to the security personnel and room service staff for their hospitality. Outside food is allowed as well, which is a plus.
The only minor inconvenience was that the lift always stopped at the first floor (reception) by default, which was slightly annoying.
Also FYI, I misplaced my room key card and had to pay ₹200 for a replacement.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Chennai.
