We really enjoyed our stay here. From the very first moment we entered the home stay we felt welcomed. Every day we received a delicious fruit plate. The breakfast was really delicious as well with lots of fresh cooked vegetables. Our girls loved the friendly little white dog (they named her Snowy). The host family suggested us things to do in the area and even drove us to the entrance. The room was exactly like at the picture, cozy and clean. We are sad that we could not stay longer but we definitely want to come back one day!

This was my first stop in China and I’m so happy that I stayed in Dunhuang at Baibaili Hotel. I was looked after so well, the hospitality of the staff extended many times for several necessities and I’m touched by their hospitality. This will for a very long time, be my remarkable first impression of China, its people and their culture. The location is perfect if you want to stay a bit further out from town and enjoy the silence of being closer to the desert and the stunning design of the place. Beautiful and comfortable room, all the final touches refined every day and after 24 hrs of travelling; a generous fruit and snack plate that grounded me sweetly into Dunhuang upon arrival and farewelled me just after mid-autumn with a beautiful moon cake. Their communication was frequent and always made sure I had what I needed. Thank you so much Baibaili

ชั้น 1 มีแมวจริงๆ ด้วย! น้องแมวผู้จัดการน่ารักมาก ให้ลูบได้สบายเลย! ส่วนเรื่องบริการของโรงแรมก็ละเอียดอ่อนจริงๆ ครับ พอเดินเข้าล็อบบี้ก็มีคนมาช่วยถือกระเป๋าไปจนถึงห้องเลย ตอนที่ต้องไปรับพัสดุ พนักงานที่ล็อบบี้ก็ยังช่วยไปเอาของลงมาจากห้องให้ด้วย บริการดีเยี่ยม 100 คะแนนเลยครับ ความสะอาดของห้องก็อยู่ในเกณฑ์ดี ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรให้เห็นเลยครับ หวังว่าครั้งหน้าที่มาตุนหวง โรงแรมนี้จะดียิ่งขึ้นไปอีกนะครับ!

The hotel is centrally located near the CBD with many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficent giving good advice when asked. The room is clean with good amenities. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of different food. The decour was very impressive. I highly recommend this hotel.

ห้องน้ำเล็กมากและชักโครกก็ตันตลอด พักอยู่ 3 วัน ตันไป 3 ครั้ง ห้องข้างๆ ก็มีปัญหาเดียวกัน ใช้ระบบดูดสุญญากาศแบบนี้ แต่พื้นที่แคบๆ ชักโครกตันตลอด จะอยู่ยังไงเนี่ย? เพดานห้อง starry sky เต็มไปด้วยฝุ่น ไม่มีอะไรให้เห็นเลย ทำเลค่อนข้างห่างไกล เข้าออกไม่สะดวก ต้องนั่งรถรับส่งด้วย ใช้เวลานานพอสมควร ผ้าเช็ดตัวทุกอย่างเป็นแบบใช้แล้วทิ้ง บางมาก บุฟเฟต์อาหารค่ำของโรงแรมราคา 300 หยวนต่อคน ถ้าไม่กินก็ต้องลำบากออกไปหากินข้างนอก อาหารเช้าเป็นอาหารที่เรียบง่ายที่สุดเท่าที่เคยกินมาในการเดินทางที่กานซู และผักก็ไม่สดด้วย เนื้อสัตว์อย่างเดียวคือไส้กรอก และไข่ต้มกับหน่อไม้ฝรั่ง? ไม่มีเส้น ไม่มีซาลาเปา ไม่มีข้าวผัดเลย ไม่คุ้มค่าเงินเลยจริงๆ อยากให้ทุกคนเตรียมใจไว้ก่อนค่ะ

Overall, I'm giving this hotel five stars, but it's not for everyone. This place is for people seeking a slice of life...It promotes a slow pace and to really understand the hotels value you need to actually spend time there. Also looks really ideal of families - lots of area for kids to roam without getting into trouble. If you just want a bed to crash in while spending most of your time outside, don't stay here. Also if you want the most Instagrammable hotel around? Yes, book it. Pros: Amazing view, super peaceful. The layout feels like a camp you walk out and you're right in the common area, easy to relax. I came back late one night and heard absolutely nothing for a long time. Service is genuinely 5-star; they really care about your experience. Some previous reviews mentioned they staff attitude is bad - I confirm this is either fixed or incorrect. Maybe I don't expect people to pamper me 24/7. There are plenty of staff and if you chat to them or make a request they will 100% help. Rooms are cleaned well. Some previous reviews said the aircon was bad, but mine worked great, and hot water never ran out, temperature is easy to control. Also, people said no food delivery - wrong. I got delivery even during a sandstorm, no issues. Taxis and Didi come to the hotel fine, about 12 kuai from the center. Cons: The bathroom is extremely small. If you're over 177cm / 73kg or have a broad build, I can't recommend you stay here. I kept bumping into walls, and the shower curtain stuck to my skin mid-shower – my biggest letdown. The room gets hot, stuffy, and smelly if you turn the aircon off during summer days. I made that mistake once. I'd suggest the hotel install sensors to manage temperature or air out rooms when guests are out. Breakfast is simple – looks and tastes fine, but gets repetitive and you can't choose from a menu.

B&B แห่งนี้ยอดเยี่ยมมาก! ห้องพักกว้างขวางและมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว บรรยากาศก็สะดวกสบาย ชวนให้นึกถึงสวนเล็กๆ แมวก็เป็นมิตรมากเช่นกัน ตอนกลางคืนเมื่อกลับถึงบ้าน ก็สามารถลูบหัวแมวได้ที่ประตู แมวจะพลิกตัวคว่ำหน้า น่ารักสุดๆ ไปเลย โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับตลาดกลางคืน ภูเขาหมิงซา และถ้ำโม่เกา ทำให้เดินทางสะดวกมาก บะหมี่เหลืองตอนเช้าก็อร่อย 100% เลย!

We arrived at the accommodation when it was raining heavily. There were a lot of leaks from the roof, when we entered the room we simply saw that the mattress was completely wet as a result of the leak. We then moved to another room where there was a leak in the bathroom as well as a lot of dirt, including in the toilet. In the meantime, the girl at the desk honored us with a very tasty local watermelon. She apologized for the situation and moved us to another room. The next room was a huge room, I think it was their suite. The room itself was really comfortable and large, but it was simply full of spiders and cobwebs. We decided that we would still stay in the room despite its poor maintenance. They cleaned the room for us a little, but it didn't help, but we had no more strength to complain. We cleaned it ourselves so that the stay would be reasonable. It should be noted that the place only has a solar water heater, so on cloudy and rainy days there will be no hot water as happened to us on the day of arrival. We asked the staff in the evening for tomatoes and onions and they happily gave us them free of charge. This is noteworthy and thank you for that. It should be noted that the Didi does not always arrive at the accommodation location, they offer a paid shuttle, which is convenient. On the second day we went out to the dunes at sunrise, the guy at the desk insisted that we would be cold and gave us some kind of sand socks. Only when we returned did we realize that it was actually a fee of 20 for both of us (just like on the website, and much more than supermarkets in the area). We did not understand why we were not told that it was a fee, plus it looked used and did not come in a plastic wrap. Apart from this incident, the staff was nice and helped us with the shuttle (for a fee). The breakfast was great, and they tried to help us according to our vegetarianism. We wanted to extend our stay after cleaning the room ourselves and it was decent and good, but the price was high for us, which is perfectly fine and reasonable on their part, and we decided to leave.
