"We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Carlo. Everything was exceptional — the staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We also enjoyed the food and the excellent service throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back again."
"We stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Toronto Vaughan for four days with the kids to attend the Bruno Mars concert, and it turned out to be an incredibly convenient base for our trip. The hotel’s location is fantastic for getting around the Greater Toronto Area, sitting only about 20 minutes away from Rogers Centre, 30 minutes from downtown Toronto, and a straightforward 90-minute drive from Niagara Falls. Additionally, having a wide variety of fast-food options right outside the hotel made it incredibly easy to grab a quick bite with the children.
The facilities overall are good and well-suited for a family stay. We made good use of the handy on-site laundry machines, the kids enjoyed the indoor pool, and paid parking was readily available. However, there were a few minor downsides during our stay. The complimentary breakfast options were quite limited and repetitive, as we stayed for three nights and they only served bacon on our very last day. We also asked the front desk for a late checkout extension, but unfortunately, it was not granted. Despite the rigid checkout policy and the basic breakfast rotation, the clean facilities and unbeatable location make this hotel a stellar value, and we definitely recommend it."
"The hotel is clean and modern, most likely due to the recent remodeling. As someone who has traveled to many counties of the world, this hotel has a good interior design. However, customer service and amenities needs improvement. Tipping culture is a big factor in Canada and the U.S., which I am well aware of, but to tip for a breakfast that is suppose to be included in the hotel payment doesn’t make much sense. To test out how well services will be provided, I purposely did not tip a few times and to my disappointment, customer service was not up to par with the hotel’s reputation. Tipping originated as a way to show gratitude to employees with outstanding customer service. Over time, that has changed and it is understandable. However, even if there is no tip given, basic customer service should be provided."
"We stayed in a studio unit with a kitchen and living room. Dining ware and utensils are not included, but the hotel can provide them for a fee. This setup is great for travelers planning an extended stay and wanting to prepare their own meals. Unfortunately, there is no washer or dryer in the building, so you’ll need to find a nearby coin laundry.
We chose this hotel for its location and convenience. The bus stop is within walking distance and takes you directly to Finch subway station. The included breakfast was also pretty decent."
"Stayed only one night and my first time at the Avid Hotel. Staff were courteous and check in was smooth. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, covering a variety of bread/bagels/muffins, eggs, bacon, oatmeal and fruit. Coffee machine was state of the art! Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel."
"This was my second time at Spring Hill and loved it just like the first time. Hotel is in a prime location close to store and Vaughan Mills.
The only downside I saw was her on the walls in the bathroom."
The location is great is visiting Vaughan. The bed was very comfortable, the workout room is impressive and nicely air conditioned but the pool was way too warm to be considered refreshing on a hot day.
The walls are paper thin, vent in bathroom sounds like a tap is running all the time, there’s a fridge but no microwave, breakfast is expensive for what it is, free coffee in the lobby wasn’t available because the maker was broken for most of my 4 nights stay, coffee maker in the room smelled like mold.
We arrived at the hotel earlier than our check-in time and the staff were able to accommodate us. We had two rooms booked for a business trip and one of the rooms was upgraded, which was a nice surprise and very appreciated. Great experience. Enjoyed our stay. Look forward to seeing you again for next years conference.
Location fine and excellent however the neighbourhood area is not that great as homeless and **** everywhere around ( I guess this is very common but was a shock to see around ). Good value and no issues . Stay was good
