"The breakfast provided was nutritious wholesome and enjoyable. The view - and sunset - exceptional. It is non invasive as all things are provided up front and no need to get knocks on the door. It was quiet for sleeping - also room and facilities were modern and pleasing. I am mobility impaired and the access was a dream."
"We had a wonderful stay at voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley. Everything about this place was perfect from the peaceful atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. It’s such a relaxing spot, ideal for a quiet getaway. The property is stunning, with lovely gardens and scenic views that make you feel instantly calm and refreshed.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Whether you’re looking to unwind, explore the Hunter Valley, or just enjoy some time away from the city, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend and would definitely love to return!"
"Visiting Hunter for Wine tasting and general relaxing weekend. The room was lovely but a little bland.... maybe some plants on the verandah and wall pictures in the room? Also thought it is worth mentioning that high seating would be better on the verandah so we could have enjoyed the view without having to standup all the time to see the wildlife etc... The shower was an issue with water continually pooling outside of the shower cubicle making it dangerous as the bathmat wasn't enough to soak up all of the water."
"Had a fantastic stay at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley, where the comfortable accommodation and relaxed pub-style vibe made it the perfect base for exploring the region. All the top wineries are conveniently close by, just a short drive or walk away, including spots near Hunter Valley Gardens, allowing easy access for tastings and sightseeing without long travels.
The food at the bistro was decent — hearty pub meals in a lively atmosphere with live music—creating an unbeatable evening vibe after a day out. Highly recommend for anyone seeking convenience, good eats, and that classic Hunter Valley charm."
"We Stayed 1 night to attend wedding. Not easy to locate room/studio, walking in 38 degree humid hot weather. Welcome relief with cool air conditioning which was wonderful, but no chilled water in fridge, water from tap only. Unfortunately there was an Overpowering smell of bleach making it impossible to stay inside . We left window open returning few hours later. Bed was very comfortable & we appreciated complimentary tea & long life milk. Our room was next door to a family with screaming toddlers until 11pm & they were awake & restarted at 6am. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again."
"Lovely place that was clean and tidy, great for our 1 night stay with our puppy. Will stay again. Our room was one of the ones that was looking at the vines and mountains
Would be great if there were wine glasses and not just champagne glasses in the room so we can enjoy some of the wine that we bought."
AAkkarpanOur stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate in the Hunter Valley was truly exceptional! The property is set amidst beautiful vineyards, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious and elegantly appointed, with every detail considered for comfort and luxury.
We dined at éRemo Restaurant, the sister restaurant of Spicers Guesthouse, and it was a culinary delight. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the Binnie Beef Hunter Valley Wagyu was a standout! The accompanying Thomas wine was superb and perfectly paired with the meal.
We also enjoyed a morning walk along the valley’s scenic trail and were greeted with the sight of hot air balloons floating over the hills—a mesmerizing experience. The entire stay was seamless, the staff were attentive, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Hunter Valley in style!
TTim Captures MomentsWe stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations.
The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning.
One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.
ผผู้เข้าพักIt was a lovely stay. Nice room, clean and tidy, the complimentary drink was a nice gesture. The property is huge and peaceful for a relaxing walk around. It's convenient to wineries and restaurants. The only thing didn't really work for us was the air conditioner, couldn't figure out how to turn it on.
AAndrew CYWWe truly loved the whole experience offered, from the individual chalets in the midst of the woods, to the kangaroos at our doorstep, to the wines offered at deeply discounted prices in the fridge and the comfortable beds. Locationwise, it is very central as many vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens and restaurants are just 5-10minutes drive away. Definitely will stay here again should we return to this region
