WOW Yes that's exactly how we felt from booking to leaving. We came by train arriving at Bentham and Andrew picked us up and dropped us back at the station when we left. The room was very comfortable and spotless. The bed was so comfy and large, we slept like logs every night. Breakfast was hot, tasty and filing. We booked here for a quiet and restful break. That is exactly what we had. There is a wonderful garden at the back where you can sit and just be. With steps down to the river at the bottom. Just be warned when the villagers tell you its just round the corner LOL It maybe a lot further than you think. But well worth the walks if you are so inclined.
