Nanjing Yinnan Mendong Hotel is located at No.76 Santiaoying, Laomendong, on the banks of the Qinhuai River, at the foot of the Ming City Wall, adjacent to the Jinling Art Museum. It is surrounded by nationally renowned scenic spots such as Confucius Temple, Laomendong Historical Block, and Zhan Garden.
The hotel enjoys convenient transportation: it is only a few hundred meters from Wudingmen Metro Station, the nearest subway stop. Within 2 kilometers, there are large shopping malls including Maoye World and Rainbow Mall, perfect for a pleasant shopping experience during your stay.
The hotel is well-equipped with an **outdoor swimming pool**, ideal for relaxing chats in the breeze. The 24-hour front desk provides luggage storage service. All rooms are furnished with a minibar, TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Drawing inspiration from the historic buildings of Laomendong, the hotel preserves the privacy of traditional courtyard residences, the old trees witnessing time, the simplicity of brick walls and wooden beams, and the spacious 6-meter-high ceilings.
Every room opens directly onto a courtyard. The spacious and romantic design pays tribute to the recluse spirit of ancient times, while the flowing water and clear pools enhance the joy of peaceful "seclusion" in the city.
"Great location, in the middle of actions. right next walk to 老门东 and next to 夫子庙,15 min away from Nanjing South Raul station.
The hotel is very uniquely traditional Chinese building, the amenities are very modern though. All in all a great hotel to stay at and very convenient and clean. Staff is super friendly.
From the street there are no signs for the hotel so that caused a little confusion when dropped off by taxi and I didn't know where the hotel was. The staff was kind enough to come by and pick me up.
The breakfast is a big negative. Very few selections and didn't taste good. Compaied to other hotels in Hina they are way below par. if the management is reading this, I'd suggest to improve on breakfast variety and taste.
Still a great place to stay overall, I'd highly recommend it."
