Paloma Oceana

We got married in Paloma Oceana on 30/09/23 . It was our special day with family and friends . Hotel is absolutely amazing and we had really great hospitality before wedding and just after . Beautiful food and great entertainment. October fest was really great surprise . Hotel staff absolutely amazing . I couldn’t wish for better place to have our wedding .

Had a lovely holiday here. I was sad to leave, all staff was very happy to help us in anyway. Emre was amazing and make sure we was ok everyday we had some very good laughs with him he also offered to take/show us some nice places on his day off however we had a boat trip that day. The entertainment by the pool was fab the adults loved the darts and water activities. Hopefully will return :)

We had a great time in the Paloma Oceana in Side. The food was great, the seevice was brilliant and we lived our room. I want to emphasize one person that was sooo nice and ww had a very good time with: It is Mary from the sports team! She is such a wonderful, open-minded and warm-hearted person you can only like! She spent some time with us after her work and we had so much fun with her! She is by far one of the kindest person we met there!

Lovely hotel and definitely what we expected. Couldn’t fault the entertainment staff, they all made us feel welcome you especially emre and Mary who always acknowledged our 1 year old trying to make her laugh and smile. My partner loved playing darts and taking part in the pool activities during the day ( especially when he won)

Really enjoyed this family holiday and the entertainment staff were fantastic especially emre who always greeted you with a smile and had a chat with you such a great guy and did a great job at making us all feel welcolme . He included everyone with the games and was such a nice caring person who clearly enjoys his job

Just returned from a 10 night stay at poloma oceana, the food was good (not great), the entertainment was OK but we have had much better in Antalya, however the entertainment and sports team members were brilliant and Emre (darts) made our stay so funny and enjoyable. The place itself was exactly what we expected, gardens and hotel were spot on.

Great hotel all the famliy loved it especially the kids the sports activities around the pool were brilliant 👏 all the grown ups liked playing the darts game run by emre who especially made are stay there so enjoyable and pleasant we will definitely return again

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Paloma Oceana. First comment is that I didn’t see any evidence of the hotel being a 5* resort and we felt it was more suited to a 4* rating. The hotel is clean, pretty and surrounded by trees, shrubs, flowers etc so it makes the whole environment welcoming. We were welcomed by a friendly member of the reception staff, and then another member of staff took us and our bags via buggy to our room. Room 4/5 The room was spacious, with a lovely king size bed with a comfortable, very soft duvet. The downfall was the pillows. We had two pillows (one each) which were so flat they may as well not have been there. The air con was not as powerful as we would have hoped but it wasn’t terrible. Lots of wardrobe space, plenty of electrical ports and a nice spacious bathroom. The shower was good and had good water pressure. Hair and body wash was provided. We had a nice balcony view and the room we were in (4626) was in a quiet location so slept well. The mini bar was always topped up and was good that it was free. Food 3.5/5 This is where I feel the hotel lets itself down. The buffet is very basic and very repetitive. Nothing wrong with the food per se, just not 5* standard. We had breakfast once due to lack of choice for our preference. There are four a la cartes which were overall okay. The Mediterranean restaurant was my favourite, located on the beach so the view was perfect. The steak restaurant is payable and I don’t really see why. The steak was undercooked, and was not anything special. I would have paid for the Mediterranean as the food was superb but the steak let it down. Drinks 5/5 The best part about the hotel was the drinks. We had everything we wanted and even asked for drinks that were not on the menu and the staff in the rooftop bar were very accommodating. We even had a drink specifically made for us by the barman which was great. Service & staff 3/5 There are some excellent members of staff specifically in the rooftop bar and the a la carte restaurants who want to go above and beyond to help you. Others are, quite frankly, rude. No smile or friendly persona’s, just rude and would benefit from additional training in customer service. Another thing that was incredibly irritating about the resort was the amount of times you are approached about paying for the spa, or asked if you wanted a photoshoot with the on site photographers. This is very frustrating and upselling by the pool, during dinner etc should not be encouraged and should be stoped by the hotel management. If people wanted to use the spa etc they would. Overall, a 4/5 stay. I would tell people about the hotel and say to book, however I really don’t feel the resort warrants its 5* rating.

We have just got back from a weeks stay at the Paloma Oceana we had a lovely time as a family of 3. There are positives and negatives to our stay at this hotel. The positives: The outside grounds and pools are lovely & very well kept Food was nice & it was to easy to book the Al a Carte restaurants They serve premium branded alcohol you just need to ask for this. The free water park at the Paloma Orenda was brilliant we went twice definitely recommend this. Negatives: We Stayed in the main building when going to our room felt like we were in prison the area was very dark with the doors lined up. The carpets on the first floor had lots of bleach stained marks on them which we feel is not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. The rooms were really big which we were happy about but as the room was all opened planned the only thing that separated the toilet and shower was frosted doors so we felt like we have no privacy. We have never been to an all inclusive hotel before where we have felt Obligated to tip all the time , the person who brought our bags to our just room stood there until we gave a tip although we had just given the person who showed us to our room a tip as well. Throughout our stay we spent about £70 on tips. I know we didn’t have too but we felt very awkward if we didn’t leave a tip. The negatives are just from our experience we have been to a lot of 5 star hotels in Turkey so maybe we are being picky . We have also previously stayed at the Paloma Grida hotel which we absolutely loved so maybe we are comparing the Paloma Oceana to the Grida. Don’t get me wrong all in all we did have a brilliant holiday at this hotel. Would we come back most probably not as for what we paid for this hotel there are other hotels we would like to try .
