Couple of things need attention. Not all spa features function. No movie channels available. Overcrowding of elevators. The staff are all awesome

We tried the buffet during our stay and for a little more than $65 per person, most of the food that was supposed to be warm or hot was cool, while the desserts that were supposed to be cold were warm. Also getting drinks took way longer than one would have expected based on the price of the buffet. Additionally, while the pools were nice, the hours for a family to enjoy them were extremely limited, as there is adult only hours from 7-10 am, as well as 6-10pm. Our room was great, and the bed was very comfortable, however one of our TV’s remotes didn’t work great, but we were still able to watch TV so that wasn’t that big of a deal.

It was great ( robes, hot tub, buffet) other than the electrical situation that kept shutting off power in our room. The keurig wouldn’t work but a new one was replaced promptly.

My girlfriend and I chose this property from searching online, never being to Black Hawk and/or Central City. We could not have been more pleased with our decision. The facilities were absolutely beautiful, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, and we had the most amazing stay.
We walked to other ******s and hotels to see the town, and some were okay, and others were terrible. Our return walk back to Monarch was just a welcoming and exciting as the first arrival for us.
We will for sure be returning more often!

Great stay. Only bad thing was when I checked in, I requested house keeping for the next day. The next morning I called to confirm. After 2pm I called to inquire about it and they said they couldn’t. They apologized and sent up towels.

Great stay. Very clean updated and plenty of ******** to do. Great restaurants service was good. Free parking is a plus. Fun stay, great place to stay. Only thing is its at the end of the ***** so a bit of a walk to other place.

The facility is beautiful and the food was good, but expensive. All spa services were booked so we werent able to enjoy the spa, which was our main reason for going. The additional $25/night for a “guest” when we were booked as husband and wife, seems pretty greedy on the part of the hotel. We will probably not go back nor recommend it to friends.
