During my trip to Ghana I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. The Marriott chain rarely disappoints. The service from the staff is very good, the breakfast is varied and very carefully presented. The service in the restaurant is outstanding, especially Grace, during my visit her attention was terrific. The service in the pool area is perhaps the lowest quality you will find in the hotel, they are slow and disorganized. The room is good and has what is necessary, but for a hotel of 300 dollars a night you would expect more, perhaps a better television and in particular my room had an unbearable noise from the air conditioning that really made it difficult to rest, the springs of the bed make noise but they are still comfortable.
ผผู้เข้าพักI booked this Aparthotel for my Dad and it was brilliant. Fantastic attention to detail and very clean. The only thing I’d say can be better is customer service. We had to wait a long time before getting the key although booking in advance. As a world traveler, this gap was very notable and one that can be easily addressed. It’s however a great place to stay.
Great Service by James, very beautiful service, the drinks and food is fire, loved the ambience, i had an amazing time with my friend , it was a thrill time,i saw people at the pool and they were having a good time............. I loved it here I was out here with my friend , Great guy and we had funn
The hotel is in a lovely location although the beach it overlooks is a local, working beach so not really for sitting on. However, the African village has seats overlooking the sea. The staff were generally fine and tried to be helpful. The rooms are not well maintained. The first room we were in flooded due to a faulty shower and the second room had a faulty safe, fridge and hairdryer. The air conditioning was good. The patio doors couldn't be opened so the only access to the patio was a steep walk round the back of the building. The room was reasonable clean but not immaculate. The main issue we had was food which is priced around the same as the UK but leaves a lot to be desired. The best thing was the breakfast buffet which was fine but nothing special. Be careful if you are allergic or averse to shrimps. They seem to include shrimp paste in most dishes although this isn't mentioned on the menu. The chicken kebabs I ordered tasted distinctly fishy so I asked why only to be told about the shrimp content. The guinea fowl has the same marinade and there is shrimp in the sauce that accompanies the very tasteless and dry vegetarian rice! Drinks are ok but overpriced for Ghana. The food and drinks at 5 star Labadi Beach hotel nearby are much nicer and much more affordable. It's a real pity as the location is lovely and they have an excellent Hi life band playing at the weekend.
