Love the history of the Arlington hotel. It was a beautiful building. The hotel has not received the much needed repair work. It is a shame the owners cannot repair the whole hotel...hate seeing it being let go!

Rude at check in too many hidden fees as such key deposits. Parking fees.
Room was terrible. Paint peeling off the walls and doors. Carpet was filthy with many stains on it. Toilet stopped up

I think we just picked a bad time to go. We like peace and quiet and this all but that. Over crowded hotel and city. Our room had hair in the bathroom and dust on the walls and bed frames. Check in staff was the only people we spoke too and they were friendly. Wanted to enjoy the live music and bar but there were so many people you couldnt walk through the lobby or approach the bar. The parking is super pricey. Just not for us.

Old hotel and read not to expect much. Room temp was easy to control. Had ceiling fans also. Bed very comfy. A lot of work always I’m sure for this beautiful hotel. We are glad we stayed there. Wish it was longer to enjoy town and hiking!!!

Not the most up to date. Very old and you can tell but the history and where it’s located makes it the best place to go. Would definitely recommend. Will go again

I understand old, I do not understand filthy. I spoke to the front desk and the attendant’s response was “we are renovating” and asked me if I would like to round up to help with the costs of the renovation. We have stayed at this property 6—10 times in the past. It has always been old, never in such a state of disrepair or extreme lack of cleanliness. We tried to end our stay after the first night but were told the second night was not refundable.

Under reconstruction which was not the issue, The rooms were dirty, used wash clothes in the shower, table and tv stand were dusty,dirty, it didn’t appear to be vacuumed. Staff at the restaurant were rudeand complained about having to many people, bar area was understaffed but bartending staff was working hard.
