Waikiki Central Hotel - No Resort Fees

하와이에서 쇼핑, 관광, 액티비티등 할거리가 제일 많은 오아후섬 와이키키 해변에서 5분도 안걸리는최고의 위치가 이호텔의 큰장이다 바로 옆엔 무스비 맛집, 포케맛집, 유명한 펍,알라모아나 윌마트등 가는 버스정류장등이 있어 편리했다. 이호텔을 선택한 이유는 오아후섬 투어, 거북이스노쿨링, 하와이민속쇼루아우등 온종일 투어로 차를 렌터할 필요가 없고 잠만자도 되는 일정이므로 호텔피까지 내면서 유명호텔에 숙박할 필요가 없었기 때문이다. 4일간 빅아일랜등 와이콜로나빌리지에 있었는데 하루종일 액티비티 하느라 호텔라운지도 수영장도 못가보고 유명한 돌고래도 못보는등 이용도 못했지만 호텔피는 내고 잠만잔게 너무도 아까웠기에 오아후에선 교통편리한 시내에 이 숙소를 얻었고 선택에 만족했다. 그런데 아주 역대급 사건이 벌어져 평생 잊지못할 영화를 찍었다. 지금은 웃지만 얼마나 식겁했던지. 첫날 맘놓고 펍에서 맥주와 스테이크를 거나게 먹고 입실하려니 카드키를 숙소에 두고 나왔고 저녁엔 프론트가 없는 호텔이라 아무도 문을 열어주는 이도 없었다. 비상연락망은 연락이 안되고 아. . .결국 트립닷컴 온라인채팅으로 도움을 청했지만 메일을 호텔 담당자가 읽기만 기다려야 한다고ㅠ. 화장실 찾아 3시간을 와이키기 해변을 돌았으나 볼일도 못보고 우린 다시 숙소로 돌아 가는데 길가엔 노숙자들이 어디서들 나타났는지 자리펴고 자기 시작하니 무서움이 엄습했다. 경찰서에 들어가 말어 영사관에 연락해 말어 다른 호텔에 들어가 말어 머리는 뒤죽박죽 하며 숙소문앞에서 서성거리길 30분 천만다행 매니저란 사람이 그건물에 있어 자다가 나왔다며 문을 열어주었다. 트립닷컴에서 보낸 긴급 메일을 본건지 우리가 걸어대는 전화소리에 깬건지 어째든 12시에 숙소에 드갈수있었다. 절대 카드키 놓고 다니지 말자요. 이 숙소 단점은 더운데 얇은 담요를 주어 홑이불만 덮고 잤으며 소음이 심하지만 다 견딜만 했다. 장점은 통창문이라 좁지만 덜 답답하고 전자렌지, 커피메이커, 홍차, 접시 수저 포크, 샤워용품, 충분한 수건등 다구비되어 있다. 객실 청소는 안해주며 세탁시설이 갖춰서 있고 해변에 가져갈 의자 보드 이런걸 무료로 대여해준다. 물론 리조트피는 없다. 와우~ 평생 잊지못할 숙소가 될것이다.

It was a nice and a basic hotel which I was looking for in Honolulu , because all the hotels I looked at on line was kitchenette, it’s a vacation I’m not doing no cooking, the only problem I had was lukewarm water it literally too 30min to get hot, but it is walking distance from everything slap in the middle and also they don’t charge you a resort fee a plus

Location is incredibly convenient - short walk to the beach, musubi shop, poke restaurant, McDonald's, bars, and bus stops. Room decor is average. Rooms have mini fridges and microwaves and are clean. My room had a small outdoor balcony with two chairs and a table. No beach view, the hotel is surrounded by taller hotels and condos. There are no resort fees, and no daily housekeeping (though I think you can ask for it on an exception basis). You can get replacement towels, coffee, garbage bags, toiletries at the front desk. Front lobby also has a variety of beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, and boogey boards to borrow. Front desk is only open 8AM to 8PM so plan to get the aforementioned supplies at the start of the day or when you return from sightseeing. Staff was very friendly, helping with restaurant recommendations, bus stop locations, and early morning checkout logistics. The one negative for me was street noise. I could hear garbage trucks and a moving company at 4AM. Overall, it's a great sightseeing base if you don't need an ocean view. You can spend the savings on food / beverages / tours / shopping.

Nice, small hotel with great location. The only thing I didn't like was the wall-to-wall carpet in the room.

Great place to stay. Short walking distance to the beach, International Market Place and great restaurants. Friendly staff and hotel also offers free beach supplies such as chairs, mats and boards! Highly recommend to stay here!

Nice hotel for the price in that area. Older building but rooms and especially bathroom seem recently updated. Definitely would stay here again

The location is good, almost next to the Waikiki beach with a lot of food choices nearby. The hotel itself is a little old and rundown, and room is pretty small. Staff friendly. You can borrow chairs and other beach things without charge.

Easy check in, staff were super nice and helpful. Great location and great place for a one night stay.
