Uptown Suites Extended Stay Miami FL – Homestead

Checked in, went to room. Tried to leave a few minutes later and found door would not latch. They put us in a room next door. They rented the room out that we left without fixing the door. We heard people slamming door a few times and swearing, so we know it was not fixed. Room was clean and comfortable, except light bulbs were so dim, you couldn't see to do anything. Bathroom light bulbs were good. Only one light by bed, when the ads show rooms with two. One on each side of bed. No light by work desk, couldn't see to use computer keyboard very well. Overall good stay and check out time was noon, instead of the usual 11 am for most places. Staff were friendly and professional.

Very easy access from mayor highway and many local shopping and restaurants. Nice, clean and spacious. The only negative was that you could hear many noises from above and nearby rooms. We only stayed for one night before a trip, but all around nice property.

Room size was good. Water pressure and water volume very poor. Mattress a C-.

The front desk staff was very friendly and the housekeeper was very helpful

Everything was great. This hotel sets the standard. Clean, welcoming, comfortable, great price, quiet. Staff members were friendly and professional. This is my goto hotel from now on whenever i make a trip to Homestead.

It was a nice friendly place to stay but the only problem i had was that the tv in the room was not working and the bathtub was clogged,, water fills when showering,, and no drawers to put close in,, the price was convenient,, I would still stay again,,

Advertised as kitchenette but no dishes or utensils were provided. The room smelled so we kept the AC set to freezing. TV did not work. The front desk help was very sweet but do not seem to be supported by their management. Housekeeping was also friendly and nice.

As soon as I walked in to my room, there was a funky smell. We smelled it for three days straight, we all thought it was a dirty mop that they used but it turns out to be that it was our comforter. Besides that it could of been a great stay.

I liked my stay just wish that they had a pool, didn’t realize they didn’t when I booked.
