I must emphasize the hotel's advantageous aspects: its prime location, private beach, pool, and the mesmerizing room views. However, beyond these strengths, there are few redeeming qualities. The establishment holds untapped potential for a significantly improved experience. Unfortunately, I cannot confidently assert that this place offers good value for money; it leans towards the pricier end considering its location. The rooms left much to be desired, characterized by their disappointingly small size, inadequate furnishings, and a pervasive sense of darkness. The bathroom, in particular, presented a notable challenge due to its exceptionally diminutive proportions, making it a cumbersome effort to enjoy a proper shower. While the breakfast spread is generous, it struggles to keep pace with the hotel's full occupancy, leading to difficulties in finding both a vacant table and access to the food. Parking arrangements also proved to be a notable challenge. It's important to acknowledge the staff's efforts, but regrettably, they appear to fall short in nearly every aspect of the guest experience.

An eventful stay for us! On arrival the hotel did not have our reservation, but we think this was an issue with **********, not the hotel itself. The manager however worked hard to find us an alternative place to stay that night as they were full, and allowed us to come back for breakfast and get us rooms as soon as possible the next day. He could not have done more to help. The hotel itself is nice, rooms smaller than others we have had in Albania but still pleasant. The pool is huge! Breakfast was a bit more limited than other hotels but still nice. 2 minute walk to a lovely beach with crystal clear water.

Before coming to the resort i had read loads of negative reviews about it in this app, and we had second thoughts about our choice. But i have to say they have pleasantly surprised us. Not only was the room spacious, it had a stunning view of the sea & sunset. Yes the bathroom is very small & might be problematic for some ppl but we managed through it. Our room on the 5th floor had enough space for all our luggages. Staff service was impeccable. Very polite & prompt. We had dinner at their restaurant on both nights & loved every moment of it. For fish lovers you can choose your fresh fish & ask the chef to prepare it just the way you like it. The restaurant is fine dining so in line with international standards but is on the higher end in relation to Albania. Our second night dinner was on our independence day and Nikolin, Soni & team made a special gesture of creating desserts for our most important day. We cant thank them enough. Ersilda at the front desk is a gem. Breakfast spread is wonderful and you get to sample some traditional albanian dishes like Byrek, Petulla and they are addictive. Beach acces is 3 mins walk from the hotel. Do check this hotel out if you are in Himare.

Pros: Location Pool (large, generally clean) Room cleanliness Breakfast Golf cart to transport to the beach Included loungers and umbrellas View Cons: Room size (the rooms are TINY) Bathroom size (a person larger than average size quite literally would not fit in the shower) Did not clean or tidy the room except to replace towels during a multiple night stay Pool deck has many screws sticking out at least a cm or more Food prices (literally double what the other restaurants in town were charging) Lots of small, loud children The draw for this hotel is the pool. The pool is really nice. They do provide pool towels, but there was frequently a 5-10 min wait. There were a lot of families, so I would avoid it if you’re on an adult only trip. The screaming/crying children were really distracting. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but just be aware of the environment. At the pool, you can only be served pizza or sushi, not the rest of the food off of the menu, which makes no sense. You have to walk 20 steps to be seated at the restaurant, but that requires drying off, getting dressed, etc. We ended up just going to town for lunch. We had various items from the restaurant over the course of our stay and the food was okay. Nothing spectacular and does not rate the prices, when the places in town are much cheaper. The AC never really cooled the room fully. It was tolerable, but not nearly as cool as we would have liked. We asked for a fan and they didn’t have any. Overall, there was nothing majorly wrong, but a lot of small things. We had a nice enough stay, and would return if we had small children.

This place is a true gem. We loved everything about it and we are going to return next year. Food at the restaurant is excellent, they also have a pizza place. Mixed drinks are phenomenal. The place is older but in very good shape and super clean. The staff were absolutely amazing, willing to help at all times and super friendly. We traveled with 2 small kids, and although the beach is 5 minute or so walk, they had golf carts to take us to the beach and pick us up. Umbrellas and sunbeds were included in the price. Literally can not say enough good things about rapos.

We have felt very comfortable in this hotel since the very first beginning. Everything is tidy and clean. The hotel manager is always present and asks every day if everything is ok and whether we need anythink. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet are excellent. We would also like to highlight the restaurant manager Toni and his colleague Eligers, who provide an top all-round service👍👍👍. Cosy hotel! It has a good location (next to the beach and a few minutes walk from himare's city center) and nice facilities (the pool is cool and it has a beach bar with sunbeds included). The staff was really nice and humble. The breakfast was included in our package and it was delicious, Toni and Eligers were really caring!

Rapo’s Resort Hotel in Himarë is an absolute GEM . This place is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. Every part of the stay was simply remarkable from the GREAT service , lovely amazing room to the exceptional scrumptious meals with lovely Mediterranean food and prime location . The most highly recommended for an unforgettable time in south Albania ( HIMARE )..
