Friendly family run apartments Great pool area exceptional y clean Food very tasty and reasonably priced. We had a barbecue on the Friday €14 each and worth every penny The food was amazing and plenty of it The apartment itself was very clean and had the best shower I've ever had on holiday,powerful and hot Everything on your doorstep, excellent little restaurant next door, beach 2 minute walk away.Angela was an excellent host as was her family. Will definitely go back next year and would highly recommend this place

My first time at Nana Angela and we have already looked to book again. Myself and my partner are in our 30s, if you are looking to chill and see some beautiful beach views this is the apartment for you. All the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I have travelled all over and was a little nervous about self-catering and 3-star but I can honestly say it’s one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. The sun loungers wow, they are so comfortable they have padding overlays for them. The chef has made our stay very good, she’s the best! If you fancy something different she will cook you something to your taste For coffee lovers like myself, you will really enjoy their fresh coffee too. The room is cleaned daily for self catering that’s a bonus Secured entry to the apartments makes you feel at home.

Another lovely stay at Nana Angels lovely to catch up with people we have met before.All the people work so hard nothing is to much trouble lovely clean spotless rooms everything you could need is on your doorstep but you dont have to go far as they serve lovely food drinks great sunbeds and a nice swimming pool will be back soon

A perfect little sanctuary. Couldn’t be closer to the beach and the wonderful restaurants… Family own and run they care about each and everyone of you. Nothing is to much trouble. No fighting for a sun bed which was heaven in itself. The beach is lovely… great for snorkelling The supermarkets have everything you need.. No buses to take you anywhere , but plenty of taxis. And car hire places if required. The food you can purchase in Nana Angela apartments is so good. Reasonable, fresh, well presented and yummy. The locals are friendly and welcoming. And it is definitely somewhere we would go back to.

Although this isn't our first time in Analipsi, it is the first time we've stayed at Nana Angela's and it definitely won't be the last. We love this village, try to visit once a year and this is the only place we'll come back to now - it's perfect for us. The room is clean, modernised and has the best shower I've seen in a room in any of my visits to Greek Islands. There's a kettle, fridge, safe, Internet TV, air con and balcony, along with a proper double bed. I'm unsure if it's standard practice or just the time of the season, but we were given the safe key along with our room key when we checked in, no additional charge. Nor was there any charge when we asked for the air con key and remote. Room is cleaned daily along with fresh bedding and towels each day too. The pool area is clean and comfortable with very padded loungers, a perfect size swimming pool, toilets and a shower. Entrance to the pool area from the street is via a keypad-locked gate making it safe and secure. Everyone here, guests included, are quiet, respectful and friendly, it doesn't surprise me that Nana Angela's attracts this type of folk. The bar/cafe/reception area is right next to the pool. Although we didn't eat breakfast here (we're not breakfast people) the snack bar menu was excellent. There is a barbecue night on a Friday which I highly recommend with table service, several courses of delicious, home cooked local food and a good laugh. The people working here, including Angela herself, are really friendly and helpful. I write this on a lounger around the pool, on our penultimate day, with a late checkout easily arranged for tomorrow and a likely healthy bar tab to pay. For anyone who's not visited Analipsi before, I can't speak highly enough of the village and the people for those who enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is only a minute walk from the apartments with my favourite taverna, Athina, on the corner - our usual spot for brunch. There's plenty of places to eat and drink, a pharmacy, three supermarkets, car hire (including from the apartments) and taxis are easy to get. There's also three cash machines. Also of note is Sirtaki Tavern, an outstanding place for an evening meal (as Athina also is). A land train passes through the village going through Old Hironissos and New Hironissos before coming back to the beach here. Post-pandemic, there is some renovation and building work going on around the village, none of it intrusive however. I can't recommend Nana Ngela's or Analipsi enough.

Visited with a few friends. The rooms were clean, the pool amazing en the breakfast tasty! The employees were friendly and had some great recommendations. I could recommend this to anyone for a carefree vacation.

Uitstekende service, goede accommodaties! Zeker een aanrader! Eten zou ik persoonlijk aanraden bij athina, 200 meter verderop! Heerlijke pita giros (kip) (Hopelijk heb je dan niet die chagrijnige serveerder, maar Mike)

Ik heb van 29 augustus tot 5 september gelogeerd in dit complex. Gevraagd was ,daar ik moeilijk trappen kan lopen ivm copd en artrose, om een begane grond appartement. Dit was door het reisbureau voor mij aangevraagd. Helaas is daar nooit reactie/bevestiging op gekomen. Ik was dus heel verbaasd, toen ik bij aankomst een trap van 13 treden opgeloodst werd, met mijn koffer. Halverwege de trap kon ik niet meer( ademnood) Eigenaresse zeulde toen mijn koffer naar boven voor het laatste stukje. Gaf wel venijnig commentaar, dat mijn koffer te zwaar was..Tja, als ze mij een appartement op de begane grond gegeven had, zoals aangevraagd was, hadden we dat probleem niet gehad!! Maar, zoals later bleek, waren die alleen bestemd voor mensen, die met meerdere personen waren, zodat een groepje jongeren, recht van lijf en leden, zoals dat heet, met zijn 4en in een beneden appartement zaten, terwijl ik elke dag mijn lijf die trap moest hijsen. Hetgeen best wel moeilijk is, als de leuning ook pas halverwege de trap begint.. Het appartement was redelijk. Vloer van de badkamer was behoorlijk glad, zodat ik moest uitkijken met douchen,zodat ik niet zou vallen. Warmte gaat naar boven,zoals we weten, en, gezien de middagzon vol op de ramen en het balkon scheen, was op het balkon zitten ook geen optie(te warm) en,omdat de hitte bleef hangen in de kamer, heb je toch een airco nodig...Alleen geven ze die niet gratis weg(ze geven helemaal niks gratis weg, want ze vragen overal geld voor, zelfs om een paar flesjes even koel te zetten voor gasten,die uitgecheckt hebben maar nog even moeten wachten tot ze opgehaald worden). De airco kost €9. Per dag, dus, dat tikt behoorlijk aan, maar, ja, zonder gaat ook niet. Ik had verblijf betaald met ontbijt erbij. Ik was dus ook hoogst verbaasd, om op de laatste dag ook nog eens voor 2 ontbijten te moeten betalen. Geen idee, waar ze die ineens vandaan gehaald hebben.. Met airco ia het best wel koud in zo'n appartement, dus, een deken gepakt om onder te liggen.. Op nummer 1 zat een vastgeplakte lolly, op nummer 2 een grote vlek. Op de lakens zaten ook wat vlekken. Neem me niet kwalijk, maar, dat soort dingen kijk je toch na, voor de volgende gasten komen? Ik heb het nog nooit eerder gehad, dat ik bij aankomst in mijn vakantieverblijf dacht: ik wil naar huis! Nu wel. Conclusie: als je in je eentje op reis gaat, en je hebt lichamelijke beperkingen: ga hier niet naar toe! Let goed op,of dekens en lakens schoon zijn. De meesten spreken redelijk Engels( schoonmaaksters niet,maar, dat is bekend in het buitenland). Alleen, als je ergens een klacht over hebt, kennen ze ineens geen Engels meer! Overigens, wegens "corona veiligheid"is de poort gesloten en moet je een code intoetsen,anders kom je er niet in. Schijnbaar niet van toepassing voor de medewerkers, die iets aan Nana Angela(die ook een autoverhuurbedrijf heeft,naast het complex gelegen),want, die laten de poort gewoon open staan. .. Een fantastische vakantie gehad in het kleinschalige appartement Nana Angela. S' ochtends werden we verwend door George, moeder Angela en leuke collegae met een uitgebreid ontbijt (intercontinental standards). Zeer gastvrij, schone kamers en een fijne gemoedelijke sfeer. Genoten van het zwembad met heerlijke luchtbedden. Locatie is zeer goed, 5 minuten lopen naar het strand, dichtbij verschillende restaurants ( in restaurant Marnina, naast gelegen, kun je heerlijk authentiek Grieks eten, gastheer Manos verstaat zijn vak uitstekend).Met openbaar vervoer gemakkelijk naar Heraklon. Met andere woorden een pareltje op Kreta, we komen graag terug. Cynthia en Elly
