Hotel am Vitalpark

Hotel am Vitalpark was built in 2008 and offers 130 rooms over 5 floors. Furnishings and decoration provide a nice atmosphere. Service is terrible, please read on. The hotel claims to have a gastronomic restaurant. What a joke! After a long day in the train we arrived at the station. No bus in sight and no taxi. There is no pickup service. We called the hotel and were advised to walk. After a 2km walk with our luggage we checked in. We were told that the restaurant has no a la carte, but an evening buffet. The bistro and café were closed. So far so good. We wanted to fresh up and go for the buffet. Immediately the receptionist told us that this was not possible, the restaurant was fully booked. He advised us to walk back into town. We were flabbergasted by such DDR type of service. The more as the restaurant was half empty. We regretted that we had a prepaid booking. We had a nice room with a good twin-bed, desk & chair, fridge, coffee & tea facility, 2 comfy-chairs, flat-screen TV, wardrobe & safe, a terrace with table & chairs, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower. All was clean. The hotel has inside & outside pools and a superb spa with 7 saunas, hammam steam bath, tepidarium, laconicum (dry warm resting room) and a fire place corner. The buffet breakfast is good and served with a nice variety: eggs, cold cuts & cheeses, bread & toast, cereals, fresh fruit, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice & preserves, rolls & croissants, water, tea & coffee. The spa and the room made our day. For the service hotel Am Vitalpark is to be avoided by all means.

This hotel and facilities was fine for a one night stay, but I can't imagine spending longer there as there wasn't that much to do. Cocktails in the bar were good and the rooms were very good. There is a free bus service into town, but the last return is 20h so no use of you want dinner and drinks.

+ Very big room with a lot of windows + two mini fridges + very very nice swimming pool + good organized services + very friendly staff - they can some times wash carpets and sofa, they were dirty - food in hotel was very expensive and there was no dining option around

Waren als Paar über Ostern dort zum wandern. Hotel ist super, da es direkten Zugang vom Hotel zur Sauna hat. Erst wandern dann saunieren und abends im Hotel Abendessen ( Buffet). Hotelbar können wir auch empfehlen. Überall freundliche Personal. Betten bequem. Parkplatz kann gegen Gebühr gebucht werden.

Im Hotel am Vitalpark ist man sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Essen im Hotel Restaurant hatte für uns Sterne Niveau. Die Qualität des Essens war leicht bis hin zu deftig. Alles war frisch für die Fisch-, Fleischesser oder Veganer zu bereitet. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies ebenso keine Wünsche offen. Mit schlechten Personal fällt meistens die Bewertung nach unten aus. Haben wir auch schon erlebt. Die Mitarbeiter vom Hotel Vitalpark haben für uns 5 Sterne verdient. Sowie die Zimmer in den Fotos zusehen waren so haben wir unser Zimmer angefunden. Liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Auch die Therme ist empfehlenswert. Modern mit einen tropischen Feeling, für jung und alt ist alles dabei. Die Massagen im Vitalpark waren ein Träumchen.

gut bis sehrgut zu empfehlen, mit der Therme gerne wieder. Gut erreichbar in der Scnittstelle von Ost zu West gleichgut zu erreichen. An der A 38 im schönen Eichsfeld. Auch die Innenstadt gut erreichbar mit guter Infrastruktur
