Reservations for the restaurants were on line, very convenient!!!

The Staff at RIU were courteous, friendly and just fun to be around. The food was very good with plenty to offer at all times. I would ask that the property make an investment to repair or replace the John Deere tractors used around the resort. They were very loud, did not run well and if had to be restarted smelled terribly of gasoline. RIU is too nice a place for a couple Shaky Jakes to be ruining a beautiful environment.

Property is great. Modern and super clean. Most of the staff are awesome. Food at buffet also good. However, the food and the service staff at the A La Carte restaurants are sub-par. Can’t believe they are worst than those at the buffet. That said, this is still a great resort.

I could honestly say that I had a great time at this resort. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My only complant is you could not make dinner reservations It was always booked every night. I must say this resort had the best beach.❤

First time at this property. Six previous times we stayed at the riu down the beach. We’re going to come back to your resort. Loved the staff!!

We absolutely loved our vacation at the Riu. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was fantastic and great beach. We loved the food at the buffet as well as the a la carte menu. The snack bar was our least favourite as it wasn’t the best. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel and we will be back. Best new years we had.

Our stay got off to a bad start when we were given a ground floor garden view room whereas we had reserved and paid for an upper level, unobstructed Ocean View room. The front desk receptionist, Kimberly, was rude and refused to address the issue. We were later given a second floor garden view room which had a sparing ocean view.This after refusing to accept the ground floor garden.
The safe malfunctioned and we had to call daily for it to be opened. Yet no maintenance technician was sent to service it. Housekeeping was terrible. Day 2 we had to call for clean towels and toiletries. Day 3 the room was not made up at all. We again had to call regarding same. On check out day, we decided to lock our valuables in our car before breakfast to avoid the safe issue calls. When we returned to the room to freshen up for check out, we found the stuff which we had left for that purpose, ransacked! Cosmetic items were stolen and security was called. Our contact was taken with a promise to investigate. Nothing happened, and when we tried to get audience with the Manager, he walked by saying he was busy!!!! Will NEVER book another Riu property.
