Staff very friendly and room nice and big with a nice large bathroom

For all intent and purpose this was my final hotel stay while exploring Sri Lanka and it was the perfect ending. It’s a first class property that is well maintained and well run. It has amazing views of the ocean as I could watch the sunrise from my bed! There is a small beach just a short walk from the hotel. It’s also well situated for you to explore all of the local sites/activities. The desk can arrange tours or rides to suit your needs. I would highly recommend this property if you find yourself in Rekawa Beach!

great place to relax with staff that can't do enough for you. Joshua was especially helpful and attentive, and could make things happen. Amazing breakfast and good espresso at the bar if you ask for it.

Don't try to get in touch with the hotel directly to get the booking done. Chances are high they will skip your booking without giving any notice. Official booking confirmations and printscreens of your communication with hotel staff will not help you afterwards. Especially cool to get that kind of surprise while travelling with a family and planning to spend the New Year's night at the place. A simply terrible hotel. It was soulless and unwelcoming. Our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The food was dreadful and the staff more interested in clearing away than actually bringing us anything to eat or drink. We only stayed one night rather than the three we had booked. Avoid this place.

Very beautiful place to spend your holidays in Sri Lanka, staff service is excellent and everyone here is very smiling, nice, friendly, polite, kind and here is delicious food, rooms are clean and have beautiful ocean view, it’s so beautiful here, overall very good experience❤️

The worst hotel I have even been to. The only good thing was the pool. We booked a room for 4 adults, but I think the room we got was a double room with 2 extra beds in it. One of the bed was made of two mattresses kept together. And the cooling was not working properly. We were told that we would have a buffet for all meals as the hotel is fully booked, so we booked full board for two days. But after arriving at the hotel after a long ride from Colombo, they are telling us that they had 8 rooms booked cancelled, so there will be no buffets. After explaining, they said they would give the breakfast and the dinner as a buffet, so we agreed. The hotel said we should make the full payment, so we did it. After some hours, they said that the dinner buffet was also canceled. So we had to stay for one night and leave the hotel. The dinner menu was set, but we had just two options to select from, which didn't have an option for vegetarians. Also, deserts had two options. We had to make changes, which was really stressful. There is no one in the reception when we call for issues, so we had to walk to the front lobby, but still there was no one. We had to wait around 20 minutes for someone to get there for help. Also, there is very limited staff, and they work everywhere in the hotel, not specifically in one section. The staff is not educated with the hotel policies; we asked one person about the policies, and he was not sure, so we had to get to the reception again. As someone who has been to 4 and 5 star hotels, I am shocked that this is a 4 star hotel because the service is not 4 star, the buffet is cheap, and the food selection is not 4 star at all. So I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to enjoy their holiday.

I booked specifically so I could use the gym as I required a hotel with a fully equipped gym. The hotel is tired and in a location on a rock. So you can not walk very far, just down to a tiny rocky beach When I went to use the gym all the equipment except the free weights is broken, rusty and unusable. The multi gym is unsafe to use and should be taken out of action immediately. It’s rusted and the pull up cord has come off the track. When I informed the hotel of this fact they did not acknowledge it. None of the cardio equipment turned on. The gym is totally inadequate and missing my numerous items also. No treadmill No mixture of free weight sizes No flat bench to use of lifting weights No mirror. When I notified the hotel of my concerns they would not acknowledge them. Plus had zero customer service. Look elsewhere to stay.
