The location is great, allowing you to be close to all the action at the Savannah. Every single staff member I encountered was helpful and friendly. Room and amenities were decent and I have no complaints in that regards. The only negative was the poor breakfast options. But again the staff were helpful and at least willing to acquiesce small requests.

Kapok hotel is a lovely hotel without being pretentious. In my opinion it’s the best located hotel in Port of Spain. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the staff is friendly and courteous. Further, the rates are moderate. The local breakfast served is divine.

Clean, quiet & comfortable room, friendly & helpful staff, who went out of their way to accommodate my requests. Good views on all sides of the building, although facing the Savannah will always be exceptional. Good dining options from top floor restaurant (with fantastic views over Port of Spain), to the cafe on the ground floor.
Will stay again & again.

1 a.m. booking and 1.40 a.m. check-in due to a cancelled flight, so it was a big relief to get a room and checked in quickly.

Choose to stay at the Kapok Hotel for an event I attended. It was my first experience but a really good one. The staff is fantastic. From the parking attendant to the wait staff, everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks exceptional. I experienced a high standard of service...Overall, great place to stay!
