I am sorry I could not rate it better, would be higher if: windows, curtains and air conditioner were cleaned, carpet steam cleaned to get rid of stains, kettle cleaned out to get rid of brown/black residue - boil some white vinegar with water in kettle and rinse. Suggest get brown linen if can't whiten sheets and towels. Fan makes clacking noise or maybe the air conditioner. Very hot in hallways and bedroom when arrived.

Fan in bathroom made a horrible racket when switched on & toilet kept filling every half hour or so - sounded like a tape being turned on (very loud). We were also was unable to open shutters in the roof.

Check in was easy, polite and very clear. The room was very clean, bed huge and comfortable. The location is great for anything happening in the city central. Heating was confusing but eventually got it working. Checkout unfortunately was rude, arrogant and odd. The man checking me out was unbelievably rude and dismissive, It’s a shame as it reflects badly on an otherwise lovely place to stay.

I walked in to a dark room, opened the curtain (that was hanging off the railing) to have a view of the neighbourhood roof, turned on the heater that didn’t heat up (they did bring an oil heater which was useless), then I went to use the spa-pool and it was in a dungeon style room (they could’ve filmed SAW in there!) where the water was so stale I felt dirty and all the buttons were broken to control it so it wasn’t worth it. Went back to my room where I tried to have a shower and the shower head wouldn’t stay up, I asked for some tools to tighten it but they bought up a whole new arm and head and proceeded to tell me that it is meant to be left up the wall and adjust the head to flow out to which I asked “why do they have arms then and every other motels work normally”
