Aloft properties are always reliable and consistent and this one didn’t disappoint. Great location right on Main Street too. Only complaints were the staggering $24 per drink cost at the bar and prices weren’t posted readily—it’s Greenville not NYC Aloft! We felt kinda ripped off. Also the shower had bad water pressure and water didn’t get super hot—needs attention.

Overall a great stay right downtown. Close to everything, and walkable. Good value for the location. Coffee shop and bar in the lobby are an added bonus, as well as pool and shuffleboard tables. Took of one star on the accommodations as the walls are quite thin and you can hear the neighboring room raise their shades up and down. Our smoke detector ran out of battery in the middle of the night and was quite noisy, but the front desk attendant came immediately and shut it off. The rooms are small, but thoughtfully organized with everything that you need. We would stay here again!

Everything was a great experience, except the 24 hour Starbucks. No coffee was available. The hotel receptionist seemed irritated that he had to help us. And he expressed he wasn’t a Starbucks employee when I asked him about menu items. This was around 11:30 pm.

First visit to Greenville. Have stayed in Aloft before. This hotel is really pet friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the stay and would visit again.

The shower was dirty, visible dirt in the shower pan and mildew in the corners. Otherwise bed is comfortable but walls are thin.

First the good. We’ve stayed at Aloft many times as they’re pet friendly and super convenient in downtown Greenville near shops, attractions and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable. The one issue is that for the price the hotels is looking run down. Very much so. Carpets are dirty, some have started lifting and smell. The condition of the rooms is also lacking. There are lots of badly done repairs, patching on walls and bathrooms with dark mold marks. There’s lots of hotels downtown for the same price and perhaps a bit lower and in almost new condition. I hope ALOFT gets a facelift.
