The pool is small and has no music it's boring. No beach. The building is old. We are renovating many rooms.
In-room. No espresso capsule machine. Drip coffee machine. It's old school.
Also gave us one decaffeinated one caffeine. Didn't understand. There are 2 people in the room.

I had issues with the room phone not working and had to go down to reception twice to follow up on a room order plus my bathroom door locked. But staff were all very lovely

Grand Cayman resort that is mostly recently renovated. Room was good, food was fine, service was pretty good.

Overall the property was good. When we stayed there was a decent amount of renovations going on (they had a makeshift gym versus an actually work out facility) which may have been communicated and I didn’t read. It is on the ocean but the area of the ocean is super rocky, not the clear blue water you go the grand cayman for- that section of the beach is about a mile away- walkable and obviously taxis are an option. For us, this meant we spent more time away from the hotel and didn’t get to take advantage of any of the amenities your “resort fee” goes to. The staff were generally very helpful, the rooms were decent. Just not sure I would stay again since my goal was to stay directly on the beach.

There is no more beach, and the path to the ocean is rocky. Seating around the pool is limited. Construction and maintenance work began early each morning.

I was nervous there was construction but never heard any of it. Don't let that be a concern. Area great. Several bars and restaurants walkable. Rental car place across the street if you want to explore. Also, free bikes if you want to go 7 mile beach or Georgetown. Pool small and no true beach although areas you can go into the water and snorkel or swim. True beach is a few minute walk. Cayman dollar is stronger than US so be aware when quoted rates and upgrades, might be more expensive than expected. Many fees on top of base fee. I upgrades a room to ocean view from island and was quoted $120 a night. Ended up double that after fees and conversion!!!

All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. They made sure you were taken care of and treated like you really matter!
The rooms are newly remodeled and they were incredible. Although they have a limited beach area, they have a nice pool deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool is nice. They provide free water equipment snorkels, masks, kayaks, paddle boards, and rafts for the guests to use. They have daily free items, like snow-cones, chips, and fruits.
