Lovely location fantastic room Unfortunately kitchen was closed due to staff shortages however i was called in advance to let me know this and they were up and running again the next morning for breakfast

Great stay for a variety of reasons. Appreciated the call during the day before I checked in, asking me if I wanted to book for dinner as space was limited. Check-in was friendly and easy - handled by nice chap at the bar. Room was modern, nicely decorated, good amenities, comfortable and clean. If there is a small grumble, it would be that the water pressure in the shower could have been better. But was still fine. Dinner and breakfast in the pub area was lovely - friendly and quick service and good quality food using local ingredients. Would recommend, and will stay here again.

Super friendly service from all the team. Very good choice of breakfasts and bedroom was big and decorated very well. Shower was just adequate. Found a space right outside and was even asked if I need help with our bags by the staff outside. Definitely stay again. Thank you.

We stayed here in March during a trip around Cornwall. The Crown Inn was a great location to get about and explore some of the lovely places nearby and easy to drive to St.Ives. We had a wonderful stay here - the rooms were really nicely done and beds super comfortable. The staff made us feel so welcome and were so nice. We ate here during our stay and the food was delicious, especially the Steak & Ale pie! Would definitely recommend the Crown Inn and will be back ourselves to see more of the area.

We loved our stay at this Inn. The room was lovely - very updated, clean and comfortable. We ate dinner both nights at the pub and the food was delicious. The a**osphere was fun and lively. Breakfast each morning was cooked to order and also delicious. Full English breakfast or healthy options of cereals and nuts, etc. The owner, Derek, was incredibly gracious and helpful with ideas for visiting special spots in Cornwall. We had a fabulous time in Cornwall and only wish we had more than three days to visit. Would definitely recommend the Crown Inn and would stay there again ourselves.

The room is very nice, comfortable and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We loved the English breakfast. Highly recommended.

Recently refurbished room, very comfortable. Hosts were particularly helpful and friendly. Dinner was excellent and English breakfast was great, more than we could eat.

Before booking I called the property directly and asked if it was ok for us to bring our little one who would sleep in a travel cot. I was told this was fine as long as we brought our own travel cot as there are none kept on site. We turned up at the crown inn to be told there was a limit of 2 people per room and we couldn’t stay due to having our baby with us!! I was promised a full refund by the owner himself, so no other options were discussed. He told us this had happened before, so clearly he needs to speak to his staff about the rules. Luckily we managed to book a beautiful cottage nearby, my partner remarked how he was pleased with this as the crown inn hadn’t been what we expected, it looked really run down and the smell wasn’t pleasant. I called *********** after we left and they sent an email to the owner to verify the refund. The owner didn’t respond despite me calling to chase it up. We arrived home 3 days later still no authorisation, finally the day after we got back I called *********** and they said the owner had decided to keep nearly half the money. The service we have received is disgusting, if we had been told we would lose this amount of money we could of discussed possible other options but we were promised a FULL refund. The stress of this situation ruined my weekend, the owner is deceitful and dishonest and I would think twice before parting with your money
