Very disappointed with our stay at ZMR which didn’t live up to expectations at all. Could comment on lots of aspects but will focus on the main disappointment which was the restaurant. Service was absolutely dire, with confusion over what was on the menu. An inability to serve the overly expensive and limited choice wine appropriately, with it being stored in the fridge away from the table and hoping to attract someone to refill the glass. The food was that bad and not cooked to order, nor as described that one plate was not eaten (a refund was offered and accepted). We would not eat here again nor stay here. On checking out was not asked how stay was or else would have given feedback in person.

From start to finish Zion Mountain Ranch is wonderful. We visited Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP. Both parks were delightful. We also did a horseback ride. Our stay was so good, we extended an extra day. Had we had the time, we would have stayed a fourth night so we could also do a jeep excursion and stargazing outing. Don't skimp on time at this location!
The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Decor is tasteful. The grounds are beautiful with abundant wildlife.
The only caution...don't go to the restaurant if you are in a hurry. The food is good, the service is okay, the views are amazing and it takes about two hours from the time you walk in to the time you leave. I had no problem with the time, but if one is in a hurry....

Staff is amazing but the cabins and housing needs some love in general. Worst mattress we have had in years and we travel a lot, completely worn out. Broken pictures frames, frozen floors, bad heating in bathroom. We kept our sandals in the shower and ceramic flooring.
It is not advertised properly, it’s perfect if it’s what you expect.

The staff was excellent! The cabin was clean and cozy! It was our 42 anniversary which I let them know. It is the “off” season but the website doesn’t indicate anything is any different during this time. The restaurant was supposed to be farm to table so we were very excited to try the food. There were five items on the menu but they only offered three. There was a bison burger for $28, pasta for $28 (meat additional) and $48 skirt steak. Since we were celebrating we opted for the steak. It was small and cold with a lot of potatoes. We didn’t return for breakfast.

We visited in January. Ranch was beautiful, host were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were amazing - super clean and spacious and warm even with cold and snow outside. Highly recommend.

Kind and friendly check in.
Loved the animals roaming around and the ability to wander and enjoy the land. Made me feel like we were at our home farm and not just a place to sleep and spend money.
Perfect size cabin for two. Very quiet and peaceful compared to the other end of the park.
