It’s a magical place, from the moment you press the buzzer at the gate to announce your arrival, then wait for the electric gates to slowly welcome you to the beautiful drive through the grounds to the castle at the top of the hill, where staff are waiting at the entrance to take your bags and park your car. Service and attention to every detail are above and beyond. Beautiful floral arrangements meet you in every room. The food is outstanding, and cocktails And canapés before dinner are exquisite. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world , and Glenapp is right on the top of our list

From the start to finish - what an experience - each and everyone at the castle were so lovely. Everyone so friendly. I can highly recommend anyone to go and have timeout here. We chose the 7 course starter menu which was great - trying food if not normally do.

We were at Gleneagles two days before we stayed at Glenapp and there is no comparison between the hotels. Gleneagles is good, Glenapp is outstanding. If you want the very best that Britain has to offer, select Glenapp. It's the best of the best!

From the warmth of the welcome, to the amazing food and grounds and the outstanding care of all the team. If you've chosen to stay at Glenapp Castle you're in for a luxurious treat. My husband and I booked to stay to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary, and we weren't disappointed. The grounds were beautiful. I'm gluten free and the GF food was outstanding. Try the hot chocolate for a decadent treat. We had some whilst watching the glory of the northern lights which showed up to top the enjoyment of our stay. Well done Glenapp team.

Lovely location, great property, friendly and welcoming team. Obi (our 4 month cocker puppy) had a wonderful time too! Great walks in the woods and area, close to beach, 5 minute drive. Lovely food and service, we look forward to returning.

Amazing; beautiful place, great food and outstanding service. The gardens were in full bloom and the grounds were beautiful. The kitchen prepared a lovely picnic lunch which we enjoyed in the Victorian glasshouse. Would definitely recommend a stay there.

Decided to make a pit stop in Ayrshire on our way to Glasgow and made a great choice in selecting glenapp. Wonderful gardens full of spring blooms and an uninterrupted view of Alisa Craig from the drawing room. Staff were great, attentive and very friendly. The size of the hotel means you are more than likely to get chatting to other guests before dinner over a G&T and nibbles. Will be back.

Stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Attention to detail amazing. Staff were superb from arrival,restaurant service, housekeeping and departure. Food was excellent. A lot of activities were available such as archery and bee keeping to name only two!!
