The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir - A Fern Crown Collection Resort

We had a four nights stay at The Fern Gir. We were quite delighted during our stay 2 years back at The Fern Gir property. Gir again is no lesser by any means, the property is small and themed based on Jungle. Our 8 years old daughter had enough activities in Game Room to keep her engaged, which helped us to have a relaxed stay. Thanks to Ashraf and Ayush. The Bird Watching & Bird watching tour by Naturalist Kalu Bhai was amazing, gained lots of knowledge from him. Our single bedroom apartment was well maintained by the house keeping team Rahul and Ashish. Wonderful Service in Banyan tree restaurant by Narmada and Atif. Overall we are quite happy and eager to visit the property again!

The resort and the activities in the resort were amazing and the pool and the gym have been ***aged great and we enjoyed games also and the gardens were beautiful and the staff of the resort was very friendly and welcoming and we had great service and experience here

We really liked being here. The staff is always smiling , kind n cooperative. They were on their toes to make guests at their ease. Innovative family games, karoke, was a real fun . Also Mr. Aayush from staff , took us to sunset view point n clicked our beautiful family photos. Even all other staff was also helping. They all greeted well all time with a namaste!!

The staff is very polite and cooperative, they suggest us the sunset sight and provided help to guide us there. Aayush was the one who helped us explore and was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again. The ambience also is very very beautiful!

We visited Fern resort in Gir. It was excellent experience. We really like all activities like leaf art, family game and also housie game. All staff members are very polite. Mr. Aayush and than Narmada,Sanchari, in restaurant staff they all r very helpful . It was a great visit and was worth it . 👌

Well trained staff, appropriate facilities and lush green well ***icured landscape. Food of all sorts suitable for all age groups and tastes. Lots of activities to keep you busy all day if you don't want to venture out. Highly recommend bird watching (and 15 some crocodiles) trip in the morning with very informative Kalu Bhai as our guide. Close to the safaris and river Haran in the backdrop, we'd highly recommend the resort for a wholesome family trip.

Lovely hotel, Wonderfull staff and great food.The greenery in the hotel is something to look forward to I like the way the birds have made this place their home and we are the guests All in all a great stay Sanchari from the hotel was very helpful The location is also one of the best

It was a lovely experience . Everything is beautiful & very well thought out. The game room , jacuzzi, sunset was fantastic. The chef made special dishes & the food was tasteful. Atif was our butler who took extreme care & was very supportive & cordial.

Our recent stay at the Fern Gir Forest Resort became extra special due to attentive and caring staff. Especially, one of the staff members - Atif made our stay worth our while. He often checked how we were finding our stay, offered his local experience as bites of insights, and connected and resonated well with my family. He seemed all about enriching customer’s experience, operating with integrity, and focused on hospitality. The Fern Gir Forest Resort is nestled a stone’s throw from Gir Forest and Devaliya Open Range Safari. It’s a quaint and comfortable forest resort with game zone, chic restaurant with western and Indian cuisine options, little stunning ponds with turtles and frogs, kids cubby, a pool, gym and spa area and a walking track. It’s a perfect getaway if you are travel inter or intrastate. Highly recommend going for the breakfast and dinner buffet option. There is a musician who plays traditional and classic Indian melody on a unique guitar-like instrument called Ravaan-hatiar. The musician hails from Jodhpur, Rajasthan and has been playing the instrument since he was a child. He handcrafts the instruments which has a unique and soothing sound. On nearby places to see - recommend checking out the 3 hour jungle safari (6-9 am slot, best booked weeks in advance) and Devaliya park safari. I clicked some Nat geo grade pictures of animals and birds there. My fav shot of the day was the mammoth bald eagle. Also recommend visiting the historic Somnath temple that is more than 1000 years old. The sea views and serene chants are something that will stay with me a long time.
