Wilderness is soooo beautiful! We were enthralled by its beautiful beaches and took long walks. Stayed three nights at a beautiful place, Whale's Way Ocean Retreat, which overlooks the ocean... and on clear days one can see all the way to Antarctica from one's bedroom. 🤥😅 Wonderful place, hosts and location. Leg3ndary breakfasts. Thank you.

The location is simply fantastic! Breakfast is served with great empathy and affection! The view of the ocean from the suite is amazing and with a bit of luck dolphins can be seen. The shower returned cold water in the morning, warm water in the evening was available. The jets of the jacuzzi did not work.

Host was in a hurry to check us in as had to be somewhere else. I have a health condition that requires breathing aparatus, unfortunately there was no free sockets nearby to plug my machine in.

Great property with great views and perfect hosts. My family were treated as family. Breakfast to die for. Definitely recommend this property. We were given recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit. Bookings were even made for us by hosts.

My husband and I spent a night at Whale's Way Ocean Retreat and highly recommend it. Comfortable, clean and an amazing breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean. The welcome was warm and sincere and we were upgraded to a room overlooking the sea because it was not occupied, although *********** had allocated a different room to us. Left feeling that we had a great, value for money stay.

room was ok, but smelly, so not exactly very clean, but great views, got all necessary amenities, within walking distance to beach and a short drive to town, good service and great breakfast, overall value for money

Wonderful stay here would highly recommend .service excellent and the hosts full of great ideas of where to go and what to do . Amazing breakfasts with stunning views …heaven !!!!! Would recommend dinner at the girls restaurant in the village…… very tasty

The suite room offers amazing views! The room was spotless and the bath was super relaxing. The breakfast was really good! The host gave us lots of good tips about what to do and see in the area and what roads to take. (thanks for the advice for taking the Phantom Pass) Quick tip: ask for their oysters in advance! Thanks for the great stay 😊

I stayed at Whale's Way Ocean Retreat for 5 nights (spring). It was quiet out of season and I was able to enjoy the peace and quiet too. The owners Ralph and Bejamin are very pleasant hosts and made every effort. The breakfast, the room, the ambiance, the location, just great. I can highly recommend this inn.
