Beautiful located near nature and Village centre. I had booked a suit overlooking the garden. The room was specious, simply decorated but clean and comfortable. Loved the little lounge with yacuzzi and tv. The food in the resto was bistro like, simple but tasty. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Even though I was a bit early for check in and did not offer to store my luggage. Overall a pleasant stay.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel / lodge with some friends as we had a club event in the local area the following day. There was plenty of parking available outside the hotel in a pleasant wooded area. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and we were soon directed to our rooms. The room we had was spacious with a large bathroom, comfy double bed, TV (although some of the channels didn't seem to work), small kitchenette area with kettle and coffee / tea selection. There was free Wi-Fi which worked fine. Reception wasn't open 24-hours, it was closed at night and reopened at the same time as the breakfast buffet. The dining was limited when we arrived there as we were told there was only one chef on duty so we all ate elsewhere, however we enjoyed a decent breakfast in the hotel the following morning with a good selection of bread, pastries, ham, cheese, jams, croissants, juice machine, coffee machine and some hot food options (although as we had to eat early some of the hot dishes weren't quite available when the breakfast buffet opened for us at 8am). The hotel has an interesting history, as it used to be a factory and the hotel name literally means Chestnut Factory, named after the trees that used to stand in front of the building back then. The factory had closed in 2001 and was sold in 2006 but the plans to convert to care homes never happened. After standing empty for 14 years it was reopened as a B&B Hotel and our experience was really good.

It was our second time staying at De Kastanjefabriek. Last time was with COVID in full swing, now we could really enjoy the tasty breakfast. Dinner locations are plenty in Eibergen, same with walking and bicycling trails. Excellent and quiet location. One small note for others: unless you hang the sign for "cleaning please" on your door, your room won't be touched by the staff. This wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in. On the second day we ended up asking for fresh towels at 6PM at the reception...

Wanneer ik een zakelijk verblijf boek, dan probeer ik altijd wel enige sfeer te zoeken. Dat is gelukt in het hotel de De Kastanjefabriek. Het hotel is gevestigd in een oude machinefabriek te Eibergen. De kamers zijn sfeervol en voorzien van airco mechanische ventilatie insectenhorren en mega goede verduistering screens. Alles is nieuw en fris. Mijn kamer was voorzien van een kleine pantry en een tafeltje waar in nog goed ook kon werken. Goede bedden en sanitaire voorzieningen. Ik heb er ook een ontbijt en drie dagen diner a la carte genoten. Geweldig gegeten voor een hele goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. In de omgeving is ook veel te doen, qua wandelen en fietsen. In het hotel zijn diverse wandelroutes verkrijgbaar, welke je kunt downloaden op je telefoon. Echt heel mooi en rustig. Ik ga hier zeker terug wanneer ik weer in de buurt moet werken.

De kamers zijn ruim met fijne bedden, het ontbijt is ruim gesorteerd en het avondeten is ook geweldig ! De sfeer is heel prettig en gezellig . Het personeel prettig en behulpzaam. Al met al een Tien plus ! Dit Hotel is door ons erg aan te bevelen en de omgeving is schitterend om te wandelen en te fietsen. En is makkelijk bereikbaar met genoeg parkeerplaatsen.

Het hotel is warm en modern ingericht en staat op een prachtig lokatie. Voor natuurliefhebbers is dit een geweldige plek om te verblijven. De kamers zijn schoon en voorzien van al het gemak. En niet te vergeten het vriendelijke personeel 🤗
