Overall is pretty good. But the air of the room we got not smell good, felt that somebody smoked in the past.

The staff were awesome. Good sense of humor. This made everything I may have wanted to complain about be forgiven. Staff helps lift the experience, and they hit the mark.

We made this reservation via the Hotels app while we were rolling into Gallup after experiencing a flat tire at 10pm on New Year's Eve. We happily found the room to be clean, comfortable and warm. We even got breakfast provided. Thanks for a great night of rest when we had planned to drive straight through. Oh, not that we needed it, but we're pleased to see a noon checkout time. That seemed unusual. We decided to roll on to Albuquerque on our spare tire to have it flat replaced.

Front desk and lady n the buffet were awesome. Location was great. Room was as clean as could be although it was very outdated, old and weary. Fan in bathroom was connected to the light and was very loud. It appeared, due to sinage in the lobby, that the hotel may be under renovation (3rd floor was closed)

The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Our room furnishings were shabby. (I did mention it to the Staff.) Staff said they are under renovation. Breakfast coffeemaker, juice dispenser out of order and sausage or bacon out.

Nice employees, good value for the cost! Breakfast could have been better. No meat to go with eggs, orange juice out. Coffee was out however they did refill before I left.

Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice. Powdered eggs and floppy sausage were disappointing. Everything was clean. But it didn't feel clean because everything was very old and the carpet was very stained.

I heard that this hotel was pet-friendly, but they mean dogs only--I didn't know this and have a cat.

Definitely clean; nothing unique, but disappointed that Comfort Inn and Suites doesn't do more to keep hotel up to date given prices in comparison to other hotels.
