I stayed here for 8 days while serving at a local school in the area. I got engaged on this trip and the whole staff went above and beyond to host us, celebrate us, and make this a memory of a lifetime. Randa and her team (Fatima, Regina, Moses, Lorraine and more) truly treated us like family. The whole board of Sierra Leone International Mission School stays here regularly and this hotel has become a huge part of making this work possible!

This is a good value for money hotel option in Freetown. The rooms are clean, have running water, electricity and wifi above the general standard at most places in Sierra Leone or Liberia. The venue is safe with guards and walls towards the street. The only negative was that the staff were, at the time of my stay, instructed to take ridiculously high currency transfer surcharges several percentages beyond the normal hotel standard (I paid in cash to avoid those surcharges). In the bar, they also displayed another menu with updated prices upon payment a few percentages above the general menu initially offered. This was clearly something the management had asked the staff to implement and clearly not an inititative of the very nice, friendly and service minded staff. I hope this was just a temporary mistake in updating the price range because I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would rather have paid a transparent somewhat higher price than having those surprises.

Great hotel with lovely small pool. All the staff are so very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Enjoyed chatting with a few and learning more about them. Very nice food and pool bar. Would definitely return.

This Hotel is a manifestation of quality,service and professionalism. From the Hotel Manager Seyi to the diligent staff Willitia, Khadija, Clifford, Denicia, lizzy etc the breakfast session is great just like the room and ambience you will want to stay for ever. The pool bar is also a location to spend your evenings as its always serene. The icing on the cake 🎂 is the warm and friendly Hotel owner she is always ready to take feedbacks and up her game. I had a great experience there will be returning soon. You get the best experience in Freetown by staying in The Swiss Hotel 🏨.

Gorgeous hotel and lovely small pool and pool bar. Great location to get into town or beach.
The staff could not gave been friendlier or more helpful. I felt they all became friends -- from the house keepers to bar staff, receptionists and managers.
Highly recommended. I will return here on my next visit

What an amazing place! Highly recommended. I have visited this hotel several times for work and can safely say it is the best hotel in Freetown. What makes it great is the manager Sang and the owners are just on top of everything, the staff are lovely, friendly and well-trained and the place is so clean, I'm talking spotless. The beds, furniture etc are well -chosen with a fridge in your room, desk for working, AC and really good shower with regular hot water. Other bonuses are the great breakfast buffet, the food in general is excellent with a selection of local dishes (try the pepper soup) and international ones. On my last trip we had a mix up with our booking and they couldn't have been more helpful, really helping us out of a tough spot and catering to our every need. They have some excellent facilities for business too, such as good Wi-Fi (thanks Peter!) and a conference room you can hire, which we did for international zoom calls. They also do airport pick-up/transfer for a fee which takes some of the stress out of the journey. Overall, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Good choice, but not perfect Pros Quiet environment Well-designed rooms Moderate price Meal at the restaurant - It took some time, but the taste was good. Studio room - It has a small kitchen and dining room. This room could be suitable for those who have much luggage, or going to stay for a long time. Cons Studio room - Location. Studio rooms are located behind the main hotel building across the busy road. It is risky to cross this road, especially at night. - Design. Unlike the rooms in the main building, the design of the studio room is very plain. It is like an apartment. Unprofessional staff - I requested a roll of toilet paper by phone as I didn’t find one in my room, but I had to wait until 11:30 pm. They took 5 hours to bring one. - Some receptionists are not attentive, not helpful at all. I requested them to arrange the airport transfer, but they took very long to tell us the departure time from the hotel. - Some guards accompany the guests when crossing the road to the studio rooms, and some don’t. Credit card payment. They quote in USD, and also issue invoices in USD but charge in a local currency. So their actual charge can be known only when the money is deducted from the credit card account. After travelling the country, I consider this hotel can be a good choice but without too much expectation.

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here. The apartments are away from the main road which makes them nice and quiet. The staff were super friendly and very kind to our toddler. We initially had some issues with the cleaning but this was quickly rectified. A special thank you to Guest Relations Manager Dennishia, who went above and beyond, even arranging for her own hairdresser to come and do my braids. This hotel is in a good location for accessing Freetown. Would highly recommend!

I stayed in the Executive suite , at The Swiss hotel in Freetown SL for two weeks and even had my engagement party there at the poolside. Everything was amazing and all of my 150 guest loved the settings.. The manger Mr. Seyi was helpful and always there to assist us. The entire staff was friendly and amazing. From the front desk staffs, to the bellman, to the security guards and the incredible housekeepers, and certainly not forgetting all the wait staffers. My husband and I really appreciate all of their help in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I know I will definitely stay there the next time I visit. ❤️
