I don’t suggest staying in this hotel or any other during hockey tournament season. The families and children literally take over the entire hotel. It’s like no one else exists. The parents are pushy and entitled and the kids ran up and down the halls until 10pm then started up again in the morning. Slamming doors, screaming, and pounding feet were the norm. I came to the area to take care of my daughter at college who’d been ill. Resting was not possible.
Perhaps the hockey families need to be on the bottom two floors with the general public up above? Also, you can’t even get near the pool or walk through the lobby due to the inundation of kids. BTW I like kids-I’ve raised 3 and I’m a teacher. I never let them run around a hotel like they owned the place. There was no sense to get breakfast either. I just feel like it was a subpar experience and I paid plenty of money for a restful place which was beyond stressful.
