directly across the street from the beach/ocean. nice pool setting on fifth floor took advantage of a great massage/spa not far from Ft Lauderdale airport

The customer service was excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was wonderful! The location is perfect. I felt safe and the room was very comfortable. I started my day with many others with a long walk right across the street on the boardwalk. The beach is across the street and the hotel provides chairs and towels.

Rooms are in need of refurbishing, showing age. But they are spacious and come with microwave, fridge, cooktop and utensils. Coffee maker is a Nespresso.Staff were great, very helpful. After checkout my husband somehow left his hand luggage behind, they went out of their way to track us down in the taxi on the way to the airport. We are very grateful they did that quickly so we’re able to turn around to get it. Crisis averted because if their quick thinking.

This hotel is a 3 star hotel at best. It is run down and nothing like a spa environment. The only good thing about this property is that the suites are large and boast a full living room and kitchen. There are so many options in this area, I would not stay here again.

I have read many of the reviews and would like to think we are very middle of the road, reasonable people - the person who said this hotel was like a motel is nuts. The couple of reviews I read about hot water and a refrigerator not working are probably legitimate, unfortunate issues. The person with the “giant bug” in the room needs to go spend the night at the Bahia Mar (for the same price) and experience cockroaches all over the room with a terrible bed, worn out conditions, sliding door only on the ocean front room (which is not a balcony), and elevator issues. We have stayed at 6 hotels on the beach in Ft Lauderdale and this has been the best, by far, for the price. As an aside, the Maren and Hotel AC were nice ocean front rooms but we liked this better. My only “complaint” - there is no ice so when you check-in or pass by the front desk, ask them for ice and they will give you a bag to take to your room. We had drinks and dessert at the bar downstairs. The desserts are amazing. Brunch was not good; however, I think they were short staffed and so our food was undercooked and cold. It was enough, however, to make me cancel our reservations for next weekend when we are back. We stayed in room 907 and are back again next weekend so I’m hoping we aren’t disappointed after this weekend because we loved our room and thought the place was great.

When we got to the hotel they had a King bedroom for us instead of the 2 queen beds that were reserved. They proceeded to tell us there were no more queen bedrooms. They told us we could move rooms the next day. There were dirty Q-Tips on the bathroom floor. When we moved rooms the next day, we had to call down to get the room cleaned. When I asked for some compensation for the room mix up, they said they could take the resort fee off for one day!

Property was excellent. I would definitely return. Anything we needed or something needed fixing, they were very quick to respond and always very friendly. Liked the unlimited bottle water available to all guests. Little disappointed they only had one bike to use as they advertise that you can use bikes at any time, but only one was available Front desk very courteous, so was our cleaning person, as well a special shout out to Faustino at the pool deck who catered to everyone’s whims at the pool ! Nice touch to add a pool person to clean, ask for drinks, arrange chairs, etc.

The beds are very hard and the pillows are insubstantial. So we had a bit of a hard time sleeping. Other than that, the place is great.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are well decorated and spacious, but the hotel is let down by its customer service.. We were placed in the wrong room, no apology and then told to move the next day with a shrug of the shoulders, as they had double booked our Oceanfront suite the first night. I'm not sure they would have moved us had I not complained! The water was luke warm at best and had to be run for 10 mins to get to lukewarm! It was such a shame as it could be a fabulous hotel with a bit more focus on customer service and some hot water.
